Anyone here doing a keto diet? Im not seeing any groups on here so establishing this post...? Maybe share experiences, recipes and the like. I justcstarted about six weeks ago and have lost 13 pounds so far. Still have a while to go to get to normal BMI and my ideal weight, but Im making progress on Keto without killing myself in the gym.

I’m doing OMAD with keto! I’m not really limiting myself to just 20g carbs a day though since I like to eat fruits that have some sugar in it. I’ve lost about 5lbs in 1 week (all water wéíght I’m sure but still feels good to see the #s go down!)9

I've been doing keto for 6 weeks as well! Tons of success so far. Looking at 18lbs lost and about 13" so far. I'll send you a friend request!13

I have been doing keto for 3 months and I’m down 30 lbs and I have never felt better. I would of lost more but went on a two week vacation and ate like it. . Add me I don’t know how to add friends.5

Been following the Keto Lifestyle for several months now and really enjoy it. I was able to avoid the Keto Flu at the beginning. Ask any questions that you might have. I will gladly try to answer. Glad to hear that there are several having success. There are also two groups....Low Carb is one and Keto is the other.

I did Keto last year and lost 60 lbs. I've been back since 5/31 to lose the rest to get to my goal weight.

Sweet potatoes have more carbohydrates than regular potatoes do.12 -

Who says you cannot eat sweet potatoes and eat a LCHF diet - not seen that one in the ‘rule book’!

Who says you cannot eat sweet potatoes and eat a LCHF diet - not seen that one in the ‘rule book’!
Techniqually you could if you didn't mind your entire carb allowance for the day being alloted to a sweet potato. While doable it is difficult to achieve.16 -
100g of carbs is about right for a LCHF diet, that about a 1lb of sweet potato. Now I like sweet potato but I’m not sure I would want that much!12

Are you perhaps confusing a low-carb diet with a ketogenic diet? OP's question was specifically regarding a keto diet.12 -

The OP is doing keto, not LCHF6 -
Also, keep in mind that there are several versions of "Keto"!
There is the Strict Version! That is likely what most people think of when they hear "Keto"!
.....and then there is one which I was kinda sorta following when I was doing powerlifting and had not yet "converted" and was struggling. I would eat - of all things (funny how the world is sometimes) - a sweet potato about one hour before my training sessions (which were at lunch time for a good while - until the weight on the bar got up there enough to require a bit of a longer time frame between sets). I believe that is called the "Targeted" Keto. Not doing that any longer as I am not doing power lifting (for awhile....).
