    I didn't get any pictures of those little buttermilk sourdough cinnamon mini loaves. They turned out really good. Maybe you can picture them in your head.

    I took half the dough and just made a nice loaf. It was mostly whole wheat flour with some unbleached white bread flour and a little corn masa. And some rolled oats I rehydrated. I actually did add a little yeast to this batch, so it had sourdough going plus commercial yeast. And of course buttermilk. And some olive oil. It came out really nice. Soft crumb, nice crust, great flavor. I did get a picture of THAT....

    When I put that in the oven, I took the other half of the dough, cut it into eight pieces, flattened them out, smeared them with softened butter, and added a mix of brown sugar and cinnamon, then rolled them into mini loaves and baked them on a baking stone. Crisp crust. Soft inside. Not too sweet. Lots of cinnamon flavor.

    I gave half away to neighbors, but if they didn't have calories, I would have eaten them ALL.
