Proper liquorice, but I have to as there's no real liquorice available in the UK :'( Everything is just flavoured with anisseedextract, which doesn't give me the 'liquorice kick' :# Aaaargh!

Hot tea with half and half is literally my new comfort food. I also tried to think of a food I couldn’t live without but since I enjoy what I eat it was too hard to isolate one thing. I really don’t think I could live without my tea. lol

What's half and half? In Dutch this would refer to 50% beef and pork mince, thus I have a really, REALLY odd picture in my mind now.

lol!! Half & half here in America is 1/2 cream and 1/2 milk that is popular for putting in coffee and tea.

What do you classify as "proper liquorice"? Dutch liquorice? I've had that in the UK... We even get it in aus, and even a lot of the normal liquorice here (of the 5 supermarket brands I just looked at) is made with liquorice extract.

(Bassett's liquorice all sorts are made with liquoricr extract... Or is real liquorice made with something different?)

I know, but there's always anisseedoil in them as well. This is much more concentrated than liquoriceroot, and added in smaller amounts, hence at the bottom of the list. Yet it provides most of the flavouring. And that's something I taste. Bassetts doesn't taste at all like proper liquorice to me but just slightly flavoured sugar, really. Yes, thinking of a few Dutch, German and Scandinavian brands. :'(

I have a weird relationship with eggs. I can eat them, but not much or often because I'm mildly egg white intolerant. I like the way they taste, but I don't like the way they smell. I really really like them, but there are parts of them that I really really hate (like tails on a poached egg or half done whites). I enjoy them in certain preparations, but I'm really repulsed by them in others although it's rare that a food repulses me (like when I tried adding them to oatmeal). When someone says "eggs" first thing that comes to mind is either the transcendent experience of digging into an amazing shakshouka or scooping the yolk with bread, or that day when I ate too many of them as a child one Easter and spent the rest of the day vomiting. A total rollercoaster.

    ...for not even 1 day??

Usually some kind of ice cream. I might not have it everyday, but almost.

For things I consume daily? Coffee. I would be super sad to give up my coffee. If I had to because of the caffeine I would just swap to decaf. I8/ really love that morning cup.

The other one is dairy. I consume dairy in one form or another several times a week. Especially milk, cheese, & ice cream. Dairy would be super hard for me to avoid or eliminate. Maybe not for 1 day, but it would be a challenge for 1 week I think.

None. While there are many foods I love. There is always something else that is equally awesome.
