let's say, you're seeing a guy, who y'know, brings his A-game in the bedroom, and you're actually pretty happy with the way things are going with him.
but then he also asks to borrow your car occasionally.
and let's also say that he ends up keeping it longer than he originally said, like maybe just an hour or two.
and then he also doesn't top the tank off for you when he brings it back.
how would you feel about that?0 -

Are you talking about regular or premium unleaded?
if it's diesel fuel, well..... that's probably an entire new thread.1 -

Juggling EVERYTHING and never enough time or sleep or money. The to do list is 8 miles long.
Also, I dont think age matters at all. It's tough no matter what.
But we just do it.
Without being too invasive, was it any different before you were single? Did you have the time or the sleep or the money?

Totally different. My ex made good money, and of course my income was mostly supplemental. So cut the income by about 2/3, I don't have the extra help with household chores, yard work, make sure bills are paid, groceries stocked, household maintenance, child care, car maintenance, laundry, laundry, laundry, etc. So because all this is on me with no help, I get less sleep because my time is spread so thin.
And people wonder why I don't date much.
Who has time or energy?3 -

Exactly Avocado!
All those difficulties aside,
I'm actually, for the first time, content with being single! (perhaps because I have no time or energy?!)1 -

Took me a good 2 years to be truly ok with it. Now I enjoy it and I feel like it will have to take someone really special to make me want something different.1 -

1. Preparedness or Instinct?

3. Loyalty or Independence?
4. Creativity or Structure?
5. Advanced Skill or Work Ethic?
6. Physical Health or Mental Health?
7. iPhone or Android?0 -

3. once upon a time I would have said loyalty, now wisdom has taught me that independence is better
4. creativity
5. work ethic
6. mental health
7. android (I've never owned anything Apple)
Also, thanks for reviving this one. I had forgotten about it.0 -

You look 28-30.
38 and a half! I you.0 -
Although both of these 2 scenarios suck, which would be worse to you?
1. You walk in on your spouse physically and passionately engaged in an affair...
2. While cleaning your bedroom, you come across copies of love letters written by your spouse to someone expressing his love to her and that his current marriage to you is more of a convenience rather than love.0 -

#2.
Unfortunately I already lived through a very similar situation.1 -

This is so wrong at so many levels. Neither is appealing to me or most folks I know.
Both would result in the same reactions.1 -

I immediately had the thought that one of these happened to him.0 -

Cool weather (not frigid).

I guess have the surgery I'm supposed to have but have had to postpone until I have $500 upfront (instead of them billing me 😠). Get an oil change. Pay my credit card down some.
I'm such a boring adult.3 -

Same question but you aren't allowed to use the money on boring adult stuff. Pretend that's already been taken care of.
