Cutting a slice of triple chocolate birthday cake a day later while it's still cold is just
Everyone laughs at me for like cake cold it's so much better that way
So much better. It's like it's fused into one entity. When it's soft it feels separate if you know what I mean.0 -

Yes and feels mushy and weirdly textured when room temp.0 -
Neither. I like ice cream instead. Coffee, chocolate, swirls of either, or good quality strawberry or raspberry found only in small mom & pop type ice creameries that make the stuff on location.0

There's still a place for warm cake though. I dunno ifyou've tried that. All nice a gooey. A different kind of mouth pleasure.0 -

Yeah.. not really into the whole tart scene. I'm the one that scrapes the tart just to eat the base crust. I'm not a fan of overly jammy, creamy or fluffy type desserts.0 -

Tart I meant sour
I'd rather the filling. I make the world's best pastry but I don't really like it1 -

Lol, what a paradox. If your pastry expertise crosses over to the savoury variety then I'm all over that. A good homemade sausage roll highly satisfies.1 -
Traditional Black Forest gateau. It has a very thin pastry base, so I guess it qualifies as a cake tart. But I'm a fiend for a good cherry pie.0

I make amazing pot pies and often at Christmas will make sausage rolls. They are basically eaten as quickly as I can take them off the baking sheet2 -
