The face can’t disguise...
That being a dad...
Well in to my 40s...
Oh hello there man-boobs...
I’m no longer sporty...
I wake with a yawn...
That turns to a moan..
And stiff in my hips
It grows to a groan...
I cannot disguise...
The pain I feel...
Until I hear him babbling...
Then I know it’s real...
I’m a dad in my 40s...
And I have so much love for him...
So I heave myself to work...
And pass the hours till I can see his tiny smile again!
