call them out on that Diet Coke they had at lunch!
Who records Diet Coke? Anything with zero calories doesn't get logged...that's just silly!
If it goes in your mouth, log it.
:blushing:
No need to be embarrassed by your diet. Just log it so your friends can see and give you the support to stay strong.
You're so supportive
I know, right?!0 -
If he can't deal with seeing those pictures, he was right to delete you. He's doing what he needs to do to keep himself on track.0

I agree. I only want the best for him.0 -
A friend recently deleted me from his FL due to me showing off pictures of delicious looking food that I made, such as grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches. Unfortunately this friend felt that he could not resist such tempting food after he already completed his diary for the day. I should have been more supportive and posted pictures of wheatgrass salads.
To everyone else, remember that you are directly responsible for your friend's weight loss. Look hard at their diary everyday to make sure they are not eating unhealthy foods and call them out on that Diet Coke they had at lunch! Make them accountable! We are all here for the same thing!
I'm friending you immediately because I need someone to blame for my failures.0 -
Oh...wow. OH my... Just wow. I think I'm over my calorie goal just looking at this...0 -
If it goes in your mouth, log it.
And that is why you need to log it. So your friends can hold you accountable for your actions and encourage you not to stray from your diet again.
MFP has a great database. I know you can do this!0 -
This topic has convinced me to have grilled cheese for dinner. with *gasp* BUTTER. Its going to be delicious. I gladly accept food porn as well.
You are not helping my cause here.
Not ashamed. Happy to eat what I want on TDEE-20% rather than a measly 1200 calories (but that is another topic...which gets covered almost hourly it seems)0 -
Liston to you saying that u made cheese toastie but do not say that is all bad.I think everything in moderation .food is not diet food healthy eg raspberries, bananas, lettuce plum tinned tomatoes, low fat yogurt I stopped toast and swaped to cereal eg rice krispies Weetabix flakes, etc. Another breakfast eg porridge. lov pasta with tomato sauce.had a toastie today and bowl of chips naughty but nice Try to eat jacket spud or new potatoes most of time fill plate with o point salad veg eg cucumber, lettuce and shredded carrots,tomatoes0

I record it to keep track of both my caffeine intake as well as my artificial sweetener consumption as both can lead to headaches for me. STAHP the diary shaming!0 -
:grumble:  Damn, I had Kentucy Fried Chickend yesterday AND today (in moderation of course), I guess all of my friends should delete me now!
how is this pronounced? is it Kentucci fried chickend like Stanley Tucci and thus italian?
or is it Kentoochi Fried Chickend and thus a little nasty?0 -
I still can't tell whether this is all just one big joke or if you and the other poster who said he deleted friends over food are serious or if you're in cahoots and playing a practical joke on hundreds of people...0

I personally don't think anyone else is responsible for anyone else. Each person is responsible for himself/herself. No one makes someone fat but the person in the mirror. It's one thing to be supportive and another to take responsibility for causing someone else to gain or retain weight. You have a right to show off the meals you prepare.0

I would never be part of such a thing.

It's like the panini. You want your tomato in it, yet you don't want to be accused of being in the cahoot. Got it?0 -

I guess it's weird that he deleted you... but no more weird that you went as far as to post this.
Nah, I don't have the whole background and I still think it's quite funny. I love food porn when I feel like eating more than my calories, it kills my appetite, sometimes it even makes me feel a little ill. IMO grilled cheese sammiches isn't food porn that is like normal food.0 -
Tomatoes in a grilled cheese...blasphemy! Everyone knows thats the kind of soup you're supposed to dip it in!0

OP's got jokes.0

we're all here for the same reasons...
How did you get into my house last night????0 -
We're all here for the same reason.
Everyone is different (and has to find what works for them).
Wait, what?0
