Went to the doctor on Saturday. We discussed my eating in the middle of the night problem. She agreed that I should probably have something that will help me sleep through the night. She also agreed that it was the Abilify that I take that's been causing me to have these problems. I don't want to go off the Abilify, because it's doing wonders for my mood and I haven't been able to find anything else that helps as much as it does. So here's what happened:

    1. Reduced dosage of Abilify
    2. Added on temazepam to help me sleep
    3. Added on an additional medication to help control my appetite

    Sigh. So much medication.

I tried the temazepam last night. It made me sleepy, but I still woke up a couple times, and got up to eat once. I'm not sold yet. But it's only the first night. I should give it at least a week and then evaluate from there.

I debated whether to give myself the "win" for last night, as I did a little bit of nibbling while prepping the kids' lunches. However, it was way less than usual, and really was just a few bites, so I'm giving it to myself. Yeah, so long LNS. I'm in the lead!

I can’t remember where I left off but since I just started I’ll say me: 3 LNS 1. Weekend was not too bad. Only messed up with some chocolate once 😩

I'm house-sitting and there are SOOOOO many yummy crunchy/sweet snacks here!

I want to put myself to bed, but I have to get some work done.
    Oh, need to be strong!

Made a batch of apple cider donuts for my husband to have for lunch the next few days - last batch came out of the oven at 10pm. Wasn’t even tempted to lick the sugar off my fingers. Weird how that happens sometimes - wish I could figure out how to turn off food temptation on demand.

    Awesome will power.

Please may I have the recipe?
I would love to bake some.
I can even smell it now, fresh out of the oven!
    Drooling!!!

I am saddened to admit that I have late night binged for the last few nights. I can't even call it snacking after last night. I have been having a hard time sleeping because I didn't make time to exercise which really contributed to my restlessness at night and last night or should I say early this morning (1am) I finished my japanese from dinner. Other than committing to making sure I get my exercise in, does anyone have any suggestions short of having my 10 year old barricade me in my room at night.

I missed checking in one day (Maybe day 6? Day 7?), but haven't had any late night snacks since starting on Oct 1. This challenge has been really motivating!
