@deepwoodslady wow! You literally made me cry. Thank you so much!!! I know at times I do tend to forget to give myself a pat on the back for all the accomplishments I have already accomplished and I know its one of the things I need to work on, side by side my weight loss. I have been getting better at it but as you can see I still have my days.
I am happy I work out with my mom, it makes things so much more fun and to see her improvement (and inadvertly discovery where my bad co-ordination comes from 😜😆) literally makes my day feel worth it..and now to discover another person is motivated by me (you) really makes everything seem worth it (gain or the same)
I really needed that pep talk (sometimes a little reasoning is all that is needed) It really brightened my day!!
And just so you know, I am one of your cheerleaders 🎉...I can't wait to get to your post and see changes as well. You are inspirational to me too.
P.s I hope were are friends 😄😄 although a non-traditional "meeting", I do consider you one of my friends.7 -

@quiltingjaine Thanks for the info on the trend weight. I had not checked your spoiler since I first started on the challenges, then followed your rounds in the current. That is an excellent way to track. 10 days added up divided by 10 would be my trend and you can be sure that I will be doing that from now on in my journal that I keep! Thanks again for yet more great information. What you share in invaluable to us all!
@ssssanaaaa I'm so happy you found the rice. You will notice there are many flavors to choose from. I like the Risotto one because it also has mushroom bits. However, all of them are good. I've also made it fresh when it's on sale. So very easy to do. I hope you will find some nice stirfrys or currys to put on top. It's nice to use for asian food at home where I can control the sodium! Let us know how you like it.4 -

@deepwoodslady I've heard that sometimes the rice can get soggy. Do you have any tips? (I have the frozen bag if that makes a difference).1 -
I really love this challenge and the participants, it makes me under control somehow. Even I cannot reach my goals, it's really better than nothing. So the previous challenge I really lost a little weight (0.3 kg/0.9 lbs) and that motivated me.
My goals for this challenge:- Drink enough water
- Exercise 3-4 times in a week
- Try to not eat junk food and drink max 3 glasses of alcohol in a week (I don't wanna be hard on myself because I can't)
- Eat nutritious food not just all carbs
10/5 85.3 kg (188 lbs)
I got really sick yesterday, I was exhausted, lost too much water, however, also drank so much water. I couldn't eat enough.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieve permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.
