If he talks terribly about his exes, I immediately lose interest.

If he gets jealous of male friends, run.

Oh this made me think of an ex.
I dated a guy several yrs ago. That would lie about being at his baby mama's house (they had an on and off again thing).. I don't care he'd go over and be around the kid and her a bit, as I like civil co-parenting but when you are staying and watching movies with her until 2am or later, and lying about it... only getting caught because FB app used to tell where you are near if its enabled... then no.

Great movie to watch if you're into Rob Schneider comedies or are a fan of baseball. Kind of a silly, feel good movie about kids, missed opportunities and being bullied. It's a Happy Madison movie.

    Benchwarmers on IMDB

I find it so incredibly attractive when a guy shows no jealousy. That kind of security is really hot

What if she/he was really nasty? Not the good nasty but the nasty nasty.

If he’s still so angry at his ex that he’s talking to his current date about it, I’d assume he’s not over it and question why he’s on a date with me. So another red flag.

People shouldn’t let other people have control of their emotions so much. The only case in which I could be more understandable is if there are children involved.

Both are excellent answers and pretty much what I expected from you. 😁

If they can't keep an indoor plant alive

I cannot keep plants alive. I have kept a 16 yr old son alive by myself.
    That doesn't count for anything?

    Nope! DQ'd.

dangit. I was really hoping for redemption.

What if I buy a fake plant and water it when you come over so that it LOOKS real?

If people are mean to you they are not your people.

If people accuse you of *kitten* for no reason they are not your people

If people lie to you about dumb stuff that's obviously a lie they are not your people.

If they won't compromise on what to watch with you they're probably someone to work with.

Don't associate with people who yuck your yums.

Having been cheated on multiple times, I can understand where one would be cautious and potentially untrusting. But, I've always given people the benefit of the doubt until something comes up that causes me to question her motives.

This is the opposite of how my ex-wife was. She forbid me from having female friends. Yet, she was the one who cheated. So, in some ways, I'm a bit cautious and look for certain signs in a person's character. But, never jealous.

There's a point where I can understand having a neutral discussion about why/how something might have happened and how it's caused one to be a bit more cautious or be a certain way. Potential deal breakers, so to speak. But, how they talk about their exes and what's said is more important than just the discussion.

If he says Canada is an American state.

What if one is from "South Canadia"?
