I would love to join!

CW: 153.8
GW: 130
Weekly Walking Goal:
10,000 steps a day
40+ miles/week
5 elliptical workouts a week (25-30 minutes)
I would love to climb a Colorado 14er this summer! It is about 9 miles round trip with a 4700 ft. Elevation gain.
I joined a Stepbet and have 2 1/2 more weeks to go before goal. I will probably join another one then.2 -

Mon 11: 7,412 (Slight quad strain meant I was a bit careful - skipped BodyPump and only had a lunchtime walk)
Tue 12: 13,187
Wed 13: 15,944 (plus BodyPump, Barre Fit and yoga, because I had the day off and the morning to kill...)
Thu 14: 5,233 (mmm, sofa)
Fri 15: 14,133
Sat 16: 17,583 (plus BodyPump and low impact aerobics)
Sun 17: 22,694 (...aaaand my legs started falling apart on me when I still had two miles to go. First those quads started hurting again, then the hip flexor became stiff, then the other ankle started to feel slightly sprained, then with a hundred yards to go the quads on the other side started to stiffen up... let that be a lesson to me not to take the mickey!)0 -
Hit my 10,000 steps yesterday walking around on Spring Break with the family! ❤️1

I just started working out .....I just finished walking with Leslie Sansone dvd.....I have a few of her dvd's...I am so out of shape that I only did a little over a mile....I will work my way up to 5 miles5
-
You’re doing it! It doesn’t matter if you’re out of shape now... you’re choosing to move. So proud of you, Megan!0

Today is my first day getting back at moving and making better food choices. Feels good to be working toward being less achey and having more energy. 👍2

I would like to join this group. I started walking again to get back in shape and I eventually would like to start jogging but we will see about that. I live on the Oregon coast and went for a walk on the beach and ended up walking 6.5 miles. Me, my husband and my dog were all sore by that evening. Note to self: take it slowly and drink more water.2

I pushed myself today over 2 miles3

Hello walking friends!
I had a nice walk around the block with my doggo. It’s so good for both of us. I was feeling stressed thinking about my son’s upcoming graduation and walked instead of stuffing myself with chips.
Feeling proud of myself!❤️3 -
It’s always great to start the day with a good walk with my dog. 🐕 Happy Saturday!1
-
Got a nice 21 minute walk with Roxie. We finished with a beautiful sunrise ☀️
Happy Sunday!

It’s Monday... time to get moving and embrace your awesomeness! 🥰2
-
I’ve been logging food and walking Roxie consistently for 15 minutes a day... and my goal is to bring it up to 30 minutes a day. I’m down 2 pounds... and feeling great. 🐕❤️😁
Jill
There was even snow on the ground this morning. Daffodil snow!2 -
My goal is to walk at least 15 minutes a day but ideally 30 minutes!! I sometimes break it up due to schedule into 2 walking sessions.
Today walked 32 minutes - indoors to music!
I have health challenges (Lupus) so sometimes even 15 minutes is a challenge. I’m determined tho. Gotta get these last 7 pounds off to feel healthier. Put on about 10 pounds in last flare up...3 down and 7 to go!

Way to go Jean! I agree, sometimes you just have to break it up in spurts. Today it’s raining, and I don’t love the wet dog smell, so we did a quick “business” walk this morning 😀🐕
