    just as an aside - it surprises me that people dont see crust as meaning outer rim - do you not see a crust of bread as meaning that crusty bit around the edges of the slice??
    same thing.

    Interesting how people in different places have variations on language.

    midwesterner here. i would have thought when the OP said crust, it meant the outer edge. the parts my dogs wait very patiently for

    When I'm making homemade pizza, the whole dough forms the crust. Therefore I read it that way, and not as just the outer edge.

    This. If I talk about whether a particular restaurant pizza has a good crust, I similarly mean the bread part, all of it. It never occurred to me that OP would mean only the edge (or that anyone would consider not eating that worth factoring into the logging), but now it makes more sense!

    Someone on another thread suggested a pizza of cauliflower crust topped with vegetables and no cheese. I found it laughable, but maybe that's right up the OP's alley ;)

    Well OP would bother because he/she really dislikes cheese - says so in OP.

    and you can order or make pizza without cheese if you want to.

    what was meant by 'crust' we are not sure.

    I have an idea. OP could use a slice of prosciutto as a base, add sauce and vegetables, then count the calories. It might be better to cook that in a toaster oven as exposing the meat to the intense heat of a baking plate would carbonize it. It might be better to just eat it cold as a wrap. That works out to about 50 calories of vegetables and 50 calories of meat. The pizza sauce adds sugar. If you use only tomato sauce and a few spices that could be 5 or 10 calories less than pizza sauce.

    That actually doesn't sound bad, but it also doesn't sound like pizza either.

    Lots of gooey cheese, like in the photo above! And a fluffy, crisp-bottomed crust fried on the pan in so much olive oil. I'm not giving the edges away, either. That's the best part.

    I still can't fathom why they want to eat a traditional pizza if they hate cheese & crust?

    Might as well just make one of those Thomas English Muffin like pizzas & put on toppings they like or use a tortilla.

    The cheese is my favorite part.

    There are some recipes for keto "pizza casseroles" out there. Essentially pizza ingredients without the crust.
