You probably don't have to be under 20 g to be in ketosis. I could not get all the veg I think are important under 20 g.0

Keto is typically under 20-50g of carbs. Many will not need to go as low as 20g to stay in ketosis. There is a bit of wiggle room if some days are higher carb.
At first, I found that making sure that I had low carb options and snacks around really helped. It takes a while to change eating habits so having LCHF goods ready seemed to help me.
Look into the Low Carber Daily or Keto MFP groups for more help and motivation. good luck!1 -
