So I'm on day three of this new workout regime that I have incorporated into my normal routine and OMFG I'm sore as sh!+ today! It's a good sore, and I think I'm over the period and migraine hump of last week so yay! Who knew that your 30's was just one type of ache or pain after another lol!

I will admit that I usually use weekends to go off the rails a bit…but this weekend was surprisingly good! I had a cupcake Friday night…which after having some vegan ice cream at lunch that day was probably not needed…but oh well. Other than that, I stayed on plan and in my macro/calorie goals so yay! I got my groceries for the next two weeks and got all of my breakfasts and lunches prepped for this week, worked out on Saturday and rested Sunday. Today is a rest day also and then it’ll be back to the exercise grind tomorrow morning. How was everyone’s weekend?

33 here, stay at home mom to an almost 3 year old. I started back logging again with the new year and we joined a gym. I’ve managed to go 3-5 times a week and dine pretty well staying at or under my calorie goal. It’s hard to stay motivated when I want to see immediate results. I have 100Ibs to lose, lost 3 in January.

Anyone feel free to add me as a friend so we can help motivate one another. It’s super helpful to not go through this alone.

Hey everyone. I'm 32, and have two kids ages 6 and 12. I've used this app before but thought i would give it a go again hoping that i can keep better track of what i consume each day. Everyone always says i'm skinny, and don't have weight to lose, and that makes me so mad. I'm tall that's all... 5 Ft 9, and 152 lbs. I tend to gain my weight in my but hips and thighs and, lower belly. I agree, i don't need to lose a lot of weight but i need to tone up, and lose at least a few lbs. When i look in the mirror i see the tummy, and the saddle bags... O how i have the Saddle bags. In the next couple months i'm going to renew my gym membership but for know i have the beach, my treadmill and weight bench, as well as my bike. I find myself watching you tube videos about how to train like a victoria secret model ext... I guess i'm envious of the girls that are not even models because i wonder how they find the time in there day. Like do they work, or just live off mom and dad. I want to see a video were they talk about there day to day schedule, and fitting in there workouts. For me I'm a mom, and i work two jobs to care for my kid. I wake up at 6:30 am and get the girls ready, then my self, and get the little one to school by 7:20, and get to work at 7:30. Then i work until 4:30. I try to get home and work out for an hr on the treadmill before going to get the little one at school by 6 pm. I did not mention that i have a step son every other week that i take care of too, and on those weeks its hard because i get him right after work. And if i have to work my night job then i have to adjust that whole schedule. Not to mention everything that being a mother entails (cleaning cooking activities ext.) in addition to feeding yourself something different then what you give your kids.

I'm very motivated to lose weight, and i do eat pretty good, but i'm trying to eliminate sugar. Not so much keto but close to it....The struggle is real being a mom, still young, and trying to take some time out to focus on YOU!

    I started MFP when I was 25, but I'm 33 now, sooo...

I have gotten much healthier in my later 20s and early 30s. I've been a happy maintainer for several years, but moved across the country two years ago. This turned out to be a mistake, and I gained 10 or 15lb the first year and a half or so.

I've taken that back off, but now I'm working on those last 5-10 vanity pounds, because I'm also finally getting off my butt and going to graduate school this fall. I prefer to be at my best for that endeavor. That, and make the best first impression possible.

I've been 21 for the past 16 years. ;) I've been overweight my whole life. Had 100 pounds to lose...hoping to lose enough where I can look decentish in summer clothes this clothes. Just got taken off from beta blockers (which killed my metabolism and helped me plump up not so nicely) so I'm ready to do this.
  • I just had two beautiful baby boys in September. I want to work on getting myself healthy so I keep up with them once they start moving. I would love the extra help. I feel like I am struggling to come up with quick easy meals to take with me to work for breakfast and lunch.

Went out to dinner last night with my son. I wanted to eat everything that was bad for me. I did good though. I had grilled chicken, steamed broccoli and a baked potato. When going out to eat what are some healthy choice everyone makes?

Hi everyone 34 living in Portugal and been slowly moving in the right direction for the last couple of years. But, now is the time to make my health my focus!

I'm long time single, no kids and a workaholic.

Exercise is entering my world to help me find a work life balance, and that coupled with eating well will see my find the body i love and then maybe someone else to love it too..... but, for now this journey is about me and for me and no one else.

Would love to share it with likeminded people! Feel free to add me :)

    Happy weekend everyone :)

Its so hard especially when I'm always on the go. Its so easy to just drive thru somewhere and grab something to eat.

The trouble at this age is life gets in the way, work, family, stress.

Heeeeey everybody. I'm 31, no kids, no husband, no desire for either, just a cat and potentially an axolotl on the way. I've struggled with my weight my whole life. Currently weigh less now than I did in highschool, but I still have 50 to lose to get to my goal weight. It's been nice to be back on it. Did this once when I was 26-ish and overdid it and ate the weight all back pretty quickly. I'm definitely taking it slower this time. My mental health is a lot better this time, so that's really the big thing that I think will help me this time around.

Hey everyone.... I'm 31 , but don't feel a day over 30 haha. I'm back on the 'find myself again' buzz. I've got a five year old and recently finished study so now it's my time to re-fire the bounce in my step (instead of a jiggle) and would really like a hand to keep myself motivated

I find that there’s a HUGE difference in my mood and tendency towards my depression between exercise days and non-exercise days. I am trying to use this and the better night’s sleep as motivators. Only mistake was listening to that one Rihanna song because it’s been in my head continuously for the past few hours....

100% Mental state is key for a successful weightless. I can relate <3
