This is my fifteenth round. I set some mini-goals for another challenge. They were perhaps a bit ambitious as I am approaching the range of normal BMI and have a trip planned for 6 days in NYC with high school students in February and a spring break trip in March. Without the trips, I probably should have set a goal of 1/2 lb a week. With the trips..... Oh well. For now I'll leave them up! Currently needing to lose 5 lbs to move from overweight to normal BMI! 02/12 - 149 -- There it is again. 50 pounds down! Hopefully it sticks! Walked 4 fast miles yesterday, plus an hour of zumba and strength class. This morning I walked 6 miles and got stuck in the rain. Then I did water aerobics. I felt drier once I got in the pool.

02/13 - 149 -- Yes! Now to hold til my weigh-in tomorrow for another challenge! Ran around quite a bit getting ready for my trip today. FitBit seems impressed, but I'm not so sure! Leaving tomorrow for 7 days in NYC, 6 broadway shows, ballet, opera, symphony, statue of liberty, MET, national history museum, radio city music hall, strawberry fields....I should be getting some steps in!

Took a break due to mental health…. Now back up past my starting weight! I have also developed high blood pressure so for the sake of my own health I need to do this.... plus I don't want my kids growing up without me there!

Currently doing a “100 miles in February” challenge for charity too, so I'm running 4km every morning and 10km on Saturday and Sunday!

@kmfeig87 We seem to be at level weights! Although my starting weight was 155lb (i'm very short) I can't wait to get to 135 either and be happy with that, ultimate goal would be 125 . Good luck Goal Buddy!

Two things this round - Valentines on Thursday (so will be an M&S Dine in for Two dinner with hubby - 3 courses with wine) and then the weekend is cheer comp - two VERY long days of cheerleading at the Olympic Park which usually results in less than ideal food choices and usually a take out on the way home (McD's or KFC usually as that's all that's open at 11pm at night Will try to build in to my calories and macros and make sensible choices......

02/12 - 146.7 (-1.3lb) - the Sunday roast dinner "whoosh" but still nice to see on the scale! A walk last night so my steps were over 12k. Good food day and an hour at the gym tonight planned so all good

02/13 - 146.7 (STS) - fine with that as its not up!! All should be good today so hope for a drop tomorrow

02/14 - 147.4lb (+.7lb) ? Still down compared to the start of the round. Didn't do much walking yesterday (only managed about 6-7k steps - didn't have my fitbit on) and don't feel I drunk as much water. Also grabbed a meal replacement bar on the way out o eat in the car for lunch as still have a couple left ...... So maybe this? Moved away form these bars as wasnt losing much but hate to waster them!
Not expecting a loss tomorrow morning either as hubby and I have our Waitrose Dine-in meal for two tonight (mussels to start, venison steak with sides and a cheese board to finish with a bottle of wine - will enjoy every mouthful and not feel guilty. Happy Valentines everyone

12/02 Went a little off my planned meals yesterday as went out for dinner with my lovely man, had some spicy Indian food to try and help unblock my ear, along with everything the doc has me on. Not sure exactly what impact this will have on my calorie deficit as had to guesstimate, I mostly had veggie stuff so it wouldn't have been too high and my watch also rebooted itself and wiped out an hour or twos data so my calorie adjustment is all to pot.
I did my 2nd cycle into work today, still don't trust the local traffic on the narrow streets, the streets here are still made for horses and carts going one way nevermind 2 way traffic, so walked some of it. I have pole class tonight so will have a fairly active day in all.

13/02 Finally got a drop on the scale woohoo, it's unusual for me to record the same weight day after day, my water weight normally has it up and down like a yo-yo. Aching like hell from last night's pole dance class, but have another one tomorrow so better recover sharpish. Got a reasonably quiet day activity-wise today and meals all planned for the day.

12/02 - 229.3 lbs. 30 mins on the Wii last night. Trip to supermarket during lunch break, didn't even go down the chocolate aisle! Popped in for dinner at my Mum's last night. I had more calories than normal but still under the recommended daily allowance.

13/02 - 229.3 lbs. Same weight as yesterday. I have been out for a 30 minute walk at lunchtime today. 30 minutes on treadmill walking & running in the evening.

11/02: 165.0: Goals: Gentle exercise after my intense 2 days of strength.
Not sure if the stall/increase is because of weekend food choices, increased strength training, or both. It's sometimes a trade-off situation when one decides to work on muscle toning. Looking forward to Round 68.

12/02: 165.1: Gaols: ✅ Hmmmm... Still plateauing. Under calories but a relative rest day after Monday exertions.
13/02: 165.1: Goals: Do grocery shopping, gym session, 9000+ steps ✅. Didn't get to gym, but did some circuits at home. Fitting in the gym is problematic this week.
14/02: 164.6: Goals: Well, there it is again! Planning a Leslie Sansone HIIT workout before I head out this afternoon.
THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.

• Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
• A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
• Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
• The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
• Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
• The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
• When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
• Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!

02/12: 314.5 (-2.00) - Happy to see this again! After exercise - I added the "active time" minutes on Samsung health, just phone tracking of activity from my pocket - I was under by 600 calories yesterday.
02/13: Forgot to weigh, woke up in the night and couldn't get to sleep, had breakfast and a nap, all ok though.
02/14: 313.5 (-1.00) - Always nice to see a new low!
