Gluten is not bad for you unless you are allergic to it

We were talking about leaky gut.
While there's no real evidence (that I know of at least) to show that gluten causes leaky gut, removing gluten is often suggested to see if symptoms subside.

If we were to believe leaky gut did in fact exist, which it may, studies have shown gluten is a factor in most cases with people with celiac disease and or IBS

Celiac diagnoses was historically determined by a gut biopsy. Not a really big deal but uncomfortable and inconvenient for sure. If there was an easier, but medically reliable way to find out I think a lot of people would.

When I did my hospital clinicals 13 years ago, I was assigned to colonoscopies for a week. A scalloped appearance on the intestinal wall, according to the Dr. I was observing, is indicative of celiac but without a punch biopsy it wasn't conclusive. I saw it on the monitor. It was interesting. The patient with the scalloped intestinal lining had come in with classic leaky gut symptoms.

You lost me there. Never watched it.
But, my opinion? Like so many other things, it's a fetish.

I've been binge watching it lately. It's my new favorite show.

Sure, but leaky gut, and live in sex partner?

It doesn't actually leak onto the sex partner. It's an internal microscopic leakage. Unless, ah, nevermind.
