Finally in my own place. Moved south to NC for a gov. job. Just waiting for the gov. background check to finish, and get my fingerprinting done. Not worried about the background check, just...taking so dang long.

    Hello, neighbor! *waves from Tennessee*

OK, I'm in west TN - close to the MO border - pretty far away from NC. But it still technically borders my current state. Even if it is a really long distance away. Like a really really long distance. Because Tennessee is a lot like me (short and wide). :D

Day off today, might go shopping. Back to work tomorrow! Dinner with family is always a nice time.

I'm curious to see what a north Carolina 4th is like. So I'm...doing something that's free. Not sure what though

I had a great time. I went to my youngest son's house for ribeyes and french fries. The amateur fireworks were crazy. It was like Baghdad 1992.

Had a great 4th. Took my daughter to the lake with a couple friends and rafted pretty much all day. Then we took back to house to bbq and let off illegal...I mean.... fireworks. 😬

I am taking advantage of the warm winter sunshine before a brutal cold front hits on Thursday (apparently). I am not a fan of cold

    Happy hump day horses!

Just so you know, that makes perfect sense to me. In Afrikaans, a camel is a cameelperd (camel horse). So without the hump, it ends up being just a horse. Since we are all single, there are no humps this hump day, making us all horses.

Solid logic - thanks fellow equestrian!
