I made soda bread yesterday for St. Gertrude's Day (patron saint of cats - much more appealing than grumpy old St. Patrick!) and, I confess, I ate a little more than I should have -- but with low-cal cabbage soup, so balance, balance.... My campaign to stop snacking at night has fallen short over the weekend, too, so I'm back to my "write it down first" project to try to get a grip. I'd do something with my hands while watching Netflix - knit, for instance - but I have a kitten who wants to help. Have a good week, all!

Oh, come on. That isn't even possible. I did go over my calorie goal and had salt, but really? 3.4 lbs? But...ok, I have to stop eating too much. I don't know what's wrong with me. I've reverted to my long-ago habits after 4 years of eating clean and proper. I guess this shows we're never really "cured" of old behaviors. But today is a new day and I'll try to clean up my act.

I ate properly yesterday but feel a bit bloaty, so I'm sure I'm retaining water for some reason. That's not to dismiss weight I've gained, but I'm hopeful it's not quite as bad as it looks Anyway, my two goals going forward are to keep my calories in check and stop snacking.

This was my first time in months not worrying about what I was eating. I didn't even track along at each meal but instead did it at the end of the day. But this was a good lesson for me to learn while I have the accountability of all of you. That the sooner I get back on the horse (the horse being the scale and calorie counting) the easier it is to take off the couple pounds I put on. I had so much fun enjoying food and not worrying. So I think as long as it's only one or two days, and I'm at my goal weight, I'm going to let these instances happen.

Darn my trend sure isn't budging. The line is still going up. I don't know of it'll ever reach my goal weight. And my new fitbit already started acting funny. It no longer wants to connect to the app so I don't have any updates ugh. I'm gonna have to call today. Have any of you ever had this problem? I have a flex 2.

Started a new job yesterday and it went great. Haven't been keeping up with my cardio so my goal for today is to walk/jog a 5K.
03/21 134.2 t = 136.4 happy about this drop, but I still need to improve my water and cardio. Didn't end up doing the 5k yesterday, but I did do a nice long walk to get my nails done.
03/22 133.6 t = 136 only one more day of this round. I really wanted to make my goal of t = 135 but I don't think it's going to happen ugh. Now that I'm a few lbs past my GW I need to set my maintenance range. I already think I am at the low end of what I'm comfortable with so I want to stop losing weight, but at the same time I still want my dang trend line to reach 135. I am so dang stubborn some times. I think I am going to finish out this round in a deficit and wherever I end up that will be that. My other idea is to readjust my goal to t = 135.5 because that would give me a maintenance range of 133-138. 🤷

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

03/16 157.2 No gains after vacation, I'll take it! With 7 days left in this challenge, I will need to buckle down on my eating. I want to see those 2.4 lbs GONE! Maybe I'll finally load up one of the beachbody workouts I'm paying for every month, ha.
03/17 157.2. I'm stuck here, it seems. For 3 days in a row. I did finally start PiYo yesterday and am committed to doing another "workout" today. By workout, I mean I made it through the intro section that shows you how to do all the moves. It was challenging enough for me, that's for sure! Today, I'm fighting Sunday habits/cravings with my family: usually, we get donuts or breakfast burritos and sugary coffees. None of that for me today! Keeping tomorrow's weigh-in in mind.
03/18 156.6. Down 1.2 lbs so far! Maybe I can get another .8 off the scale in the next 5 days. Seems doable! Yesterday I made good choices and avoided the Sunday sugars, so I'm feeling accomplished all of a sudden. I'll call it a NSV.
03/19 156.6 Yesterday was my first time trying to log a more complicated homemade meal, and I took the time to input every ingredient of the Shepherd's pie so I knew exactly how much of a serving I could have. This is classic comfort food, and I proved to myself that I can eat what I enjoy and stay within my limits. I'll be running errands all day today so likely eating out, but I'm not worried.
03/20 156.6. Well, I have MFP set to a 1.5 lbs loss a week, and I guess it's set correctly! Honestly, I had hoped for a bigger week 1 loss, even if it was water weight, just to see the scale moving downward more dramatically. Oh, well. I think this means if I'm losing 1.5 a week on 1200 calories, I'm slashing 750 calories a day (500/day for a 1 lb loss; 750/day for 1.5, 1000/day for 2 lb loss)? If my math is right, my maintenance level would be 1950/day as a super sedentary woman.
I'm not willing to slash 1000 calories and eat only 950 to get down to a faster 2 lb loss, especially considering I'm unable to do any real calorie-burning exercise with my mobility issues (say, by eating 1200 and exercising away 250 without eating the exercise calories back). So I'll lose slowly, but as long as I'm losing, I'm good.
Today I'm shooting for 1400 calories just to mix it up a bit. We'll see if my experiment pays off...
03/21 158.2 I'm trying not to worry about the upswing because I know I didn't gain 2 lbs of fat overnight from eating an extra 200 calories yesterday. Impossible.
03/22 155.4 There it is! Down 2.8 from yesterday, 2.4 from my starting weight this round. So encouraged! I do think a 1400 calorie day here and there (1-2 times a week) may keep my body guessing.
03/23 155.4 My final weigh-in for this round, and I'm down 2.4 from my starting weight! Yesterday I exercised but didn't eat super healthy other than a salad. However, I stayed within my calories and hit my macros better than usual, so the lesson for me is the "perfect" day doesn't exist, nor does it need to in order to make progress. The MFP calculator is proving accurate so far, as I've set it to 1.5 lbs weekly and lost 2.4 in about a week and a half on this challenge (only .15 more than it calculates).
For the first time in my life, I think I'm going to let patience and persistence win over impatience and defeat. This is going to happen slooowly, but it's going to happen!

3/14-166- I upped my walking miles yesterday, it made me super hungry, I made tomato/feta soup and forgot to be drinking water....
3/15-163- It was so nice here yesterday, I went for a big walk in the morning and then a short one after dinner-that helps.

3/18-167-Long hours traveling to a funeral.It was great to see family. It was nice to pick anything out I wanted to wear, because now, everything fits.
3/19-165-Back to walking a couple of times a day-the dogs love it and we have another warm day before it rains tomorrow.
3/20-163-I am getting back down to where I was after all of the “fun” binge eating I did on the 16th & 17th. It sure takes work to get back into the swing of things. I upped my walking to 7 miles.
3/21-163-I am happy with that, after nasty weather yesterday; instead of walking, I stayed in and sewed and made clam chowder. Today, I should be able to get a good long walk in. My husband started walking a mile or so with me before he goes to work and and that is nice. We also have been walking a mile after dinner since the days are longer; we sleep better too.
3/22-166-I walked 7 miles in the morning, but ate heavy, salty food, and no evening walk. Tonight we eat out, hopefully I’ll
do OK.
3/23-162-It took me all of this round to gat back down there. I leave tomorrow to go to a week long quilting class and I am not going to take my scale with me, but my friend I’m going with is active and doesn’t eat crap and I should be OK...packed my sewing machine and bike helmet!😂

3/14 128.0 Didn’t got to Greek as planned last night. Going to Golden Corral tonight with friends.
3/15 128.0 I plan to enjoy homemade chicken broth today. Think I overdid the treadmill yesterday. I actually WANT to get back to where I was 10 years ago but my body is not so sure.
3/16 128.0 Finally made it to Great Greek and ate 1/2 my large Greek Salad with gyro. I was stuffed. Also walked a lot. Got over my step goal.

03/14 …..185.8 ….. Nice to see a drop again. Like some of the others I feel very sore from a lot of the exercise. I may decrease the amounts today and allow a little rest to these old bones & muscles. I will spend the time prep cooking for my freezer. I may skip going to the potluck/pool hall that I attend on Thursdays. We will see. Yesterdays stats: 1089 Calories In / 2795 calories out. 12 Net Carbs mostly in veggies. 21,329 Total Steps & 9.03 Total Miles. I wanted to IF 12:12 (two week metabolism reset plan) but found that I’m just too busy at my planned starting time due to my work schedule. Today I will attempt again but at a bit of a later starting time. My IF yesterday was 16:8. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I charged my Fitbit while sleeping so no exact tracking on sleep, but my best clock estimate was just over 5 hours. 03/15 …..185.6 ….. I skipped the pool hall & potluck last night & focused on the flooding in our area. Because my home is on a slab, the danger of it getting into my house is real so I bailed water until 4:00 a.m. It also rained & that was not helping. I have a new ground drain outside but it is frozen over or buried so I could not find it. Today will also be challenging. I hope to find it before I travel this week or I will come home to a sunken ship! We still have about 8 inches of snow across the grass & large hills along the sidewalks & driveways. Sunny days are causing the meltdown. If it is not too sunny today I would like to get down to the school to walk again. I do have a new recipe that I used in prep cooking which I’ve eaten a couple of times from the freezer. I wonder if I’ve imputed the ingredients properly for the correct calorie & carb information. I am going to put the recipe in again today & see what happens. Maybe I’ve been going over my macros without knowing it! Not much sleep last night so that didn’t help. Also, not enough water again so no BM again. All are factors. I double checked my recipes & they are correct so I’m not sure what is going on (prior to the celebrations) which showed a mysterious gain. Trusting the process. Yesterday’s stats (making things worse) had too many calories to count, easily 2500 is my guess. Unknown carbs. I slept 5 hours & 47 minutes & had an early weigh-in this morning. No planned exercise yesterday but had to work until late afternoon yesterday so I got my steps in before any celebrations began. 03/19 ….. ….. Travel-no scale. Will log & post as able. Travel going well but so much sitting! I will try to do a little walking today. For those of you just getting to know me, I live in a very rural area. We have one grocery, a gas station that still pumps our gas for us. A Pharmacy, one dollar store and some Amish stores such as lumber and general store. 2 Family restaurants & a McDonald’s built just a few years ago. We also have one pizza place with, of course, no delivery available. No stores, no strip malls, no big malls, no plazas. Our school house is one building for headstart through 12th grade. The average amount of students to graduate each year is about 12 kids. To get to towns that have Chinese food, Mexican food, Italian Food, dairy queens, donut shops or bakeries, even a walmart is such a joy. To see things like KFC, Arbys, Burger King, Wendys, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell is Wow wow wow. It has, thus far been a temptation that I have been unable to resist. When traveling, I see a menu & I just can’t contain myself. It puts me weeks backwards on any weight loss everytime I travel, even for an overnight! At home there are no gyms, pools, walking trails, bike trails etc that are groomed. They allow us to walk inside the schoolhouse for exercise during the school year. In the summer we can walk to track at the school, or in my neighborhood. Most streets are dirt roads and we share them with the Amish horses so watch out where you step lol. So I walk at the school & I dance. And I go overboard when I’m out of town around new sensational foods. But I am learning & using new habits that help. I just wanted to give all the newbies a bit of history. I am in remission for breast cancer so taking care of myself is vital & I hate my setbacks more than you know. I am caring for my adult (but childlike) Autistic son alone. My husband passed away 3 years ago this month. I was his caregiver for several years & that was tough. I own & run two small businesses from my home/on my property. Cabin rentals. It keeps me active. My hands are full & it is difficult to do all of this alone now, but I strive & I do my best. I have lost a lot of weight in the past year, but these past few months (since fall) have been horrid. I am trying to get back on track & I consider my necessary travels a setback. Bittersweet. I enjoy getting out there in the world, yet I don’t because of its impact on me. I thank everyone for their continued support. The ideas I have been given are tremendous. I want you to know that none of it is wasted on me. I am not always on target, but I use them all in my strong times. You’ve made all the difference in my little world. Thanks for the chance to introduce myself to all of you who do not yet really know me.

My fitbit information is as follows for yesterday: 2705 Calories burned/Out. 14,246 Steps which I worked hard for during this trip. 6.03 Total Miles. IF 12:12. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I charged my fitbit overnight but clock shows nearly 7 hours of sleep! I never EVER get that much sleep at home. I guess it really does show how much my sleep is interrupted/impacted by the cabin rentals & guests I have on my property. Keeps me up late at night, yet up earlier than I need. Yikes…… I managed to get in a 23 minute walk. Happy hump day everyone!

No exercise yesterday so I made up for it today with a long walk. On the road again tomorrow & heading home. Had my days mixed up, pot luck would have been tonight so I guess I missed it. I am packing healthy low carb snacks for the road tomorrow to minimize the damage. I will try to make decent choices at any restaurants & carry some water in the car.

I slept 7 hours & 42 minutes people! Wow, what happens when it is not constantly disrupted! I walked for 1 hour & 19 minutes moderately paced which helped offset the dinner I had. 03/14 - 347.8 Umm...what!?! Five pounds lost overnight? I had my husband double check the scale because he had already weighed and then I weighed myself again. Hopefully the downward trend continues, but I won’t be surprised by gains in the following days. My goals are to stay on track and continue to fight my cold.
03/15 - 347.2 So it appears that my scale wasn’t horribly wrong yesterday and the downward trend continues. I’m feeling much better this morning and I’m already at pre sick steps for the morning. I might wait until Sunday to restart workouts. I’m very cautious with chest colds due to having a history of getting bronchitis. Today is my mother in law’s birthday and I’m hopeful of staying on track.

03/18 - 352.4 That’s a start. I believe that one of the reasons I’m finding this weight set mentally difficult is this is the weight I was when I last tried to lose over four years ago. I bounced between this and 350 and at the time I thought I was really trying. Looking back I know that wasn’t the case. I would have a cheat meal which would turn into a cheat day which turned into a cheat week. I never made any true or lasting changes. I keep having to remind myself that this time I’m serious and that this very minor hiccup is water and that I’m honestly tracking and not falling back into old habits. I know that I’ve got this and that I can do it.
03/19 - 351.4 I spent part of my day figuring out some of my lack of motivation and lack of activities for stress release. I’ve been staying in calories, but it’s been harder every day. I now have a plan in place that I think will suit me well and if not I’ll fix whatever is broken.

03/14 - 151.0 did more snacking last night than I should have. I didn't get dinner on the table till about 7:15 and had a couple of snacks while I was cooking and waiting to start cooking. We were trying to get the second oldest ready for his first day of work. It took us 18 years to convince that kid he needed a job, but he finally did it. I am just hoping he likes it and he figures out it isn't as bad as he has built it up to be in his head. The oldest also came by and picked some furniture up that we are giving him and his girlfriend. They are getting their own place next month when this semester ends and moving in together. First year of college is almost complete for them. Plan is set today for food and water and I am staying on my no alcohol train. Today will be day 5, trying to do a 14 day no alcohol challenge. Honestly it has been tougher than I thought.

Did not eat any bread which is definitely a win in my book. So I guess staying the same after a meal out is good, seeing as I usually gain a couple of pounds after a night out. 03/17 - 151.0 I have no idea why it’s up. Ate well and ran errands all day. Thought it would be lower though. Maybe it’s because we ate so late last night or because I weighed 3 hours later than normal this morning. I’m not complaining, it’s a Sunday and it hasn’t gone up 2 or 3 pounds, so I guess I will take it as a win.
03/18 - 154.0 I am extremely annoyed. Last weekend I thought it was because I ate pork on Sundays. It's the only day that I eat it, but we always have a big family breakfast with sausage and bacon every Sunday. So I didn't eat any of it thinking it was the sodium, and I gained 3.6 pounds from Friday to Monday. This weekend I was convinced that it had to be the alcohol that we drink on the weekend. So, I did not have a sip of alcohol all weekend, not even yesterday for St Patty's day! Guess what I gained 3.9 pounds Friday to Monday. I stayed within calories, drank a ton of water I thought, and still have this crazy spike. Maybe it is bread? I usually don't eat bread at all, but the weekends are harder seeing as we do hamburgers or hot-dogs on the grill ,or order pizza, or have toast or biscuits with breakfast. So I guess I will cut all bread next weekend and see if that's what is causing my gain. Maybe I have a hard time processing the bread right away or something. I know I will be back down in a day or 2 but it messes up my 10 day average and it is so frustrating some times. I ate a half a piece of toast yesterday and a cinnamon roll and 2 slices of thin crust pizza. All within calories, no reason for a 4 pound gain.
03/19 - 153.0 down a pound. No bread last night, but did have a beer. Ate below calories and on plan so far today. Hopefully I will be back down to 151 tomorrow and 150 by Thursday. Would love to see that 149 by Saturday, but we will see.
03/20 - 151.8 and back down again. I'm hoping for a 150 something tomorrow and to finish this round strong. 3 days left and meeting my goal for this round is very doable at this point. Did well yesterday food wise, under calories, no alcohol, no bread, and drank all my water. This no bread thing is actually harder than I thought. We make rolls with almost every meal. I usually have at least half a one or a couple of bites. I never really noticed it until last night that I do eat it and just don't count it. I guess if I only have half of one it doesn't count in my mind, lol. I have had 5 days out of the last 7 at 151 something or below, so that's definitely bringing my 10 day average down this time.
03/21 - 150.9 made it to my goal this round. Now I just have to hold onto it for 2 more days!
03/22 - 150.9 same as yesterday. Been pretty consistent accept for Monday and Tuesday this round. Going to try hard this weekend to figure out what makes me have such a large water retention problem on Mondays. I have stuck to my no bread all week, but don’t see much of a change. We did order pizza last night and I only ate the topping off of 1 slice. Then I made a large salad with chicken for dinner. I really wanted to eat the whole piece of pizza, including bread but resisted. Really trying to get into that new decade again!
03/23 - 151.8 up a bit. Not to worried, didn’t eat dinner till about 8 last night and then went to bed at 9. My allergies were killing me and I had a horrible headache. Ate right so I think all the allergy meds I am on is probably making me retain water and I’m sure eating late wasn’t helpful. So ended this round about a pound down, but also my 10 day average was down another pound and I had quite a few days in the 150’s. So round 71 was a good round for me and I’m ready for round 72. 03/14--212.9 I realized that I need to really work on my evening snacking. I don't know if it's boredom, tiredness or something else, but I want to be really conscious of why I snack so much in the evening even when I'm not hungry. What's weird is that I'm not even snacking on junk food or any specific type of food. It's going to be hard, but I think it should be interesting. Trainer tonight.
03/15--212.5 Ok, yesterday evening I tried something new to help curb my snacking. I had my dinner and then about 1/2 an hour later I realized that I was still hungry, but instead of reaching for a snack I decided to have another serving of my dinner. After the 2nd serving the hunger was gone and when about an hour later my husband asked if I wanted any of the popcorn he made I said no when I realized that I wasn't hungry. I didn't snack for the rest of the evening and in the end ate less calories than I've eaten over the prior couple of days when I was snacking. This has made me realize that I'm probably not eating enough for dinner and when I get hungry in the evening and start snacking it's hard for me to stop. So, I think from now on I'm going to eat more at dinner which will curb my hunger during the rest of the evening and hopefully I won't even start snacking. Run tonight.
03/16-212.5. Kept with the larger dinner last night and there was no snacking. Finished w7d2...8 more days to my 5k. Went to the gym this morning to do some weightlifting. Have to work on getting my water in today...it's so much harder for me on the weekend.
03/17--212.9 Well, plan to drink more water yesterday was a fail. I also realized that my plan to eat more at dinner to reduce snacking works much better on days that I work because I will snack all day if I'm at home. I think I may just accept the fact that I will probably be eating at maintenance on the weekends and just not worry about staying in deficit. Today I finished W7D3...it was an absolutely perfect run...one more week until my 5k. I bought a sofa today and did some errands. Drinking more water today than yesterday so that is a plus.

03/20--211.4 Large dinner yesterday worked again with curbing my evening snacking. I was feeling stressed out yesterday about 2 hours after my dinner, I was studying for a test, and I wanted to snack, but then I stopped myself when I realized I wasn't hungry. So instead of starting to snack I had 2 pieces of dark chocolate. I won't have time to run after work today so instead of missing my run I am planning to run at lunch today, something I haven't done in years.
03/21--212.0 Went out for a run during lunch yesterday and finished W8D1...3 more days until the 5k. The run was great. It was a lot warmer than I thought it would be during the lunchtime run, but I was still able to finish. I had homemade pizza for dinner and instead of adding another slice for a larger dinner I decided to have a salad. Only snack after dinner yesterday was 1 piece of dark chocolate. My sister-in-law and I are back in a walking challenge, she already has 8k more steps than I do, so after my trainer session today I am going to take the dog out for a long walk.
03/22--212.5 I am so sore after the PT session yesterday, but I still took the dog out for a long walk later in the evening. Did a little more snacking yesterday than I had done over the past couple of days even though I ate a larger dinner. Even though I snacked, I realized that I wanted a snack because I was still hungry and not because of some other emotion, so that was definitely a positive. When I look back to yesterday I think the weightlifting yesterday made me extra hungry. Since I was hungry I don't have an issue that I actually snacked yesterday after dinner, instead my issue was that my snack wasn't healthy and if it had been any earlier in the evening I probably would have continued snacking. So my plan is to now preplan my snacks ahead of time for the days that I weightlift.
03/23--212.7 Went to my nutritionist yesterday and now that I have my food sensitivity issues under control she wants to now work on increasing my protein and veggies in my diet. So, when she found out I'm on MFP she had me add her as a friend so that she can could view my diary. I definitely feel more exposed. Went weightlifting this morning and then I am going to get a body fat scan later today, it will be interesting to get the results, and then I will be picking up my bib for my 5k tomorrow.

03/15 – 161.8 – Was only slightly over on calories yesterday, although not the best choices and a little salty. My nose has started running since I got up and feeling a bit draggy so may also be water weight. Debating on going to the gym … maybe will opt for making soup instead … keep the calories down and liquids up.
03/16 – 160.8 – Well, I didn’t go to the gym and I did make soup, drank lots of liquids AND ate lots of calories – although still only slightly over maintenance. Not feeling too bad, just very stuffed up in the sinuses and also ears a bit. Still glad that I don’t have to go anywhere.
03/17 – 161.8 – This is feeling like a yo-yo. Did eat an evening snack that I didn’t need so will have to watch it today to keep the 160’s going here. Still have the cold but not too bad.
03/18 – 161.2 – Wasn’t planning to spend this round dithering between 160’s and 161’s! Feeling better today and got some news yesterday to up my activity. I was planning to go on the trip about April 9 till mid-May. Now it will be shorter but much sooner – like leaving next week! All I could think was “panic monster” from the https://waitbutwhy.com/2013/10/why-procrastinators-procrastinate.html blog. I am such a terrible procrastinator, but now I have to rush around and get everything ready. No stress eating allowed though as I want to keep my progress.

03/21 – 160.8 – So, almost back to where I started … not sure that that is progress. No gym yesterday as DH got the car in to get windshield replaced and new rear view mirror. The mirror fell off a couple of weeks ago and we have been waiting to get it fixed since. No way I want to do a long trip and city driving with no mirror. I did shovel some snow though. We have one spot on the yard that gets snow blown on it from the road so it’s full of salt and gravel. If you shovel it back on the road before it all melts it is way easier than trying to get the gravel later and of course the salt just goes in the ground. When we first moved here I thought that was so weird – people spend all winter shoveling snow in piles and all spring shoveling it onto the road to melt.

03/15 - 298.4 - NC - Yesterday I did the treadmill for 30 mins, bike for 30, and then hand weights. I won't be going to the gym today as I am fasting due it to it being Friday and Lent. I'll stop my fast for dinner due to medication which will put it at about 24 hours since I last ate anyways. I see my dietitian today, and I think I am going to skip out on Transitions today. I just don't feel like it. Thinking about it makes me anxious. My CSS may be disappointed, but oh, wells.
03/16 - NW - Yesterday was a rest day for me. The first in about in a month. Today I went to the Y, used the treadmill for about 32 minutes, NuStep 20 minutes and hand weights. Food is on point for the day. Going to just relax for the rest of the day.
03/17 - 295.0 - I'm glad to see the scale unstuck and moving again. I am not sure if I am going to the gym today or just walking around the community room or possibly, outside. I'm running out of lettuce and tomatoes, so...I might make a trip to the store, I might not. We'll see how the math goes with what I have for groceries for the rest of the week until the 26th. I've got some math to do.
03/18 - NW - I did a lot of cleaning yesterday and more to do today to finish off. I will be doing my walking around the community room as there's not enough time to go to the gym with the appointments that I have today without skipping meals and pills, and I can't do that. Having met my goal of 299 my next goal is going to be 275. My baby, my cat, is staring at me as I type this. I think he's trying to telepathically tell me that his bowl is low on food. So, today I'm going to the library. I'll probably walk around there some as it's a big place, and I don't have my hooking (crocheting) materials right now.
03/19 - 293.8 - I did not get my walking in yesterday. I fell asleep in the evening. I have worked on straightening up my apartment the last couple of days I have taken out four bags of trash and two carts of boxes and misc items that were broken but too big for a trash bags. I feel much better in cleaner and more organized space. I plan to attempt to walk later today after my aide leaves.
03/20 - NW - Did Mallwalking today. I walked for an hour and managed to walk about a 5K, I didn't make it to the gym due to the time I got back and had to meet with my CSS and eat. I'm not going to skip meals just to go to the gym.
03/21 - NW - Fell asleep in my chair and stumbled into bed last night forgetting to take my night meds. I didn't want to wake up this morning. I got up and went to a Nutrition 101 class and learned about coconut oil. I then went to the dentist. After lunch I went out for a walk in the park instead of the gym due to the beautiful weather. I walked for an hour and 2.5 miles. It was wonderful. The park behind my building has paved trails, not many, but enough you can kinda take different routes around the park. I came in and walked a flight a stairs before going to my apartment.
03/22 - NW - I totally blanked and forgot to weigh this morning. Since I forgot that it was Friday for awhile, I ate breakfast instead of fasting. I am fasting now until evening instead of the rest of the day because I have to my evening meds with at least 350 calories of food. I am considering skipping my evening snack, but it is also only 90 calories, so not fully decided yet. I am, after dinner, going to walk around the community room for awhile. Tomorrow off to the gym!
03/23 - 290.2 - I woke up this morning and was so tired I just went right back to bed. I went to the gym this morning, did 32 minutes on the treadmill, 20 minutes on NuStep, and 30 minutes on the bike doing 4.5 miles, and then I lifted the hand weights (dumbbells). Nutrition is on point on right now. I have switched to egg whites instead of whole eggs after talking to my dietitian.

03/17 136.2 I wasn't on much for the last round but I am hoping to catch up on this round and restart being active. Life has been crazy and I forget to come on and read, then before I know it I am pages behind lol. Thankfully I have another sheet I record my daily weigh ins on or else I don't think I would have remembered what my final weight for the last round would have been lol To catch you all up briefly, i have realized I love the way I look at this weight, so I am not sure if I want to make 135 my goal weight. I am looking to continue toning and exercising and any weight loss from that is still welcome but otherwise I might start practicing maintenance. Although 135 is my new found goal, i think I still want to hit 133 at least for some "grace" weight...That way any gain from any family functions or nights out will just put me back up to my goal weight and far from the 140s lol

03/22 196.6 I did it!! It’s been a long time since I’ve gotten below 197, I feel like I broke the barrier. I’m really excited!! Now to make it through the weekend....
03/23 195.8 !! Well that’s a good end for this round! I feel like I can keep the momentum going, I’ve got a good handle on my food, it’s just making it to the treadmill. Good luck next round everyone!!!11
