04/18/19- 168.4 Glad to be down some. Itβs the week before my TOM. I just computed my average weight so far for this round, and itβs 167.96, so Iβm on target to make my goal, if not surpass it. Plus, Spring Break is now here!
04/17/19- 169 I drank a cup of water before I remembered to weigh this morning, so that number may be more like 168.8. Must be retaining water from the leg workout yesterday.
04/16/19- 167.6 I havenβt slept well the past 2 nights. Iβm getting ready to cut my caffeine in half.
04/15/19- 166.8. I think this is my lowest weight yet. I ate a salad for lunch yesterday, and watched my sodium intake. When I hit 165.5, that will be 40 total pounds lost. Would love for that to happen on this round!
04/14/19- 168.4 Itβs okay. Went to Outback for lunch, and ate my entire baked potato. It was well worth the uptick. I was back on track today.

I love this challenge but I am going to take one or two off. I'm very stuck in my weight loss journey and feeling very frustrated. I had thought this was helping me, but I've changed a few things and haven't seen a weight loss. I'm going to stop weighing every day and just see how it goes. I will still track food and exercise regularly just stop weighing every day. I might check in with the thread because I'm a little caught up in some of your lives Good luck people. Keep up the good fight.
As long as you are not giving up Sweetie!! Good luck to you too! you will find your way. Mix things up. When you come to a set point weight that is what you have to do sometime after losing a substantial amount of weight. You can do it!! Hope to see you soon! :flowerforyou:

I only count water, but in addition drink coffee (max of 3 large cups per day), and a couple of glasses of flavoured sparkling water.

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight β but I am finding it difficult!

I drink 2 glasses of water before each meal and then a glass of sparkling water with the meal - it helps me feel full !6 -

04/13 - 140.7 I believe this is the TOM drop I was waiting for in the last challenge, better late than never. I also cut white carbs yesterday that I had been eating through the previous week. -1.1lbs
04/14 - 140.7 I guess it has to slow down at some point. My diet was on point and I met my exercise goal yesterday as well. I also drank a ton of water yesterday (12cups). Not sure why the stall. Will see what tomorrow brings.
04/15 - 140 I did weigh in 3 hours later than normal so might be a little off but progress nonetheless.
04/16 - 140.7 I thought it might be up a little because of yesterdayβs late weigh in possibly skewing numbers but I didnβt think Iβd be back up where I was the day before. I have been doing a lot of strength training, maybe Iβm retaining water. Either way Iβm still on track. NSVs are abundant. I look much better in clothes than I did when I weighed less. I am also seeing noticeable changes in my strength and muscle mass. Hopefully Iβll see a drop on the scale tomorrow but either way Iβm doing good! πͺπ»

I have a car! This is so exciting. It will negatively impact on my steps, but it also means I save 30mins each way to work, so I can start my morning runs again. And overall a new way of living ππ
Yesterday wasn't too bad foodwise, a few road trip snacks (easter eggs) and ice cream after dinner. I estimated very generously, so cals might well have been lower.
Today, went for brunch, but very civilised, then Ikea before I dropped off my SIL at the airport. I didn't eat much, but had a few more Easter eggs - to finish them before the new week.

Dinner with work, it was tapas style dinner but loads of different cuisines. I just estimated 1000cals for it.
I only did 3000 steps, this is my new reality, driving to and from work, plus no time for a lunch walk... Definitley don't want that to be the norm.

Weight is going the wrong direction, but not really surprising.
I favoured sleep over run or yoga again in the morning. I'm finding it really difficult to find an end to my day in the evening as they seem so short.
Food was acceptable, too much sugar, but not terrible. Ikea trip after work upped my steps, but still not made the 10k.

It's ok if I maintain this round. It's been a hectic week and the weekend will be no better. At work I needed chocolate and tonight I needed some wine! But at least I should get my steps in over Easter.

My weight has been all over the place this last week with my period. After having plataued on 80.6kg for 4 days prior to this, it shot up to 81.6kg over the past couple of days. Really want to focus hard these 10 days on a strong weight loss as my June trip is coming close and I've worked hard to get as close to my end goal weight as I can for it!

04/14: 80.5kg. Yesterday was eating well, gardening and doing 15000 steps. I am feeling it today! Wondering if THIS is the bounce back to my pre-period rate or if my weight will move up again tommorrow.
04/15: 80.7kg. Not as much as a bounce up as could have been. Lots of gardening and walking. Now, back into the work week!
04/16: 80.3kg. Glad to be moving down but really getting tired of being stuck in the 80 point dots. Managed to do my 10000 steps even with a sudden double shift.
04/17: 80.2kg. Arg. and, yay. But arg. 10,000 steps, calories on point.
04/18: 80.0kg. Doing all the right things. Seeing the results. 70s still proving veeery hard to break. Tommorrow, maybe? Maybe...
04/19: 79.8kg. So shed a little tear over this this morning. Somehow, the weight loss only seems real now. This feels very much the homeward stretch from here on in. I won't get down into my goal weight range by my trip (June 1st) as I've aimed for since the beginning of this journey, however it's very much an 'aim for the moon as even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars' scenario. Three days to go this round, lets see if I can solidify in the 79 point dots.

04/13 345.2 I was out of control with my sodium yesterday and a little over calories too. Add in that after I posted yesterday I pulled a few muscles in my leg and the water weight was inevitable. Iβm resting today and Iβm sure Iβll see it all drop off again in a few days.
04/14 344.2 First of what Iβm sure will be several drops. I have a lowish sodium week planned. If I stay on course I should be to close to 340 by end of round.

Th 04/04: 165.4: Goals: β 'Free' day today, so worked on decluttering my craft room.
Fri 05/04: 166.0: Goals: β Final Boditrax assessment this afternoon. Good progress made. Reduced metabolic age to 62, increased muscle mass, reduced fat mass, so I am very happy. All my stats were improved.
Sa 06/04: 166.3: Goals: β granddaughter is home for a long weekend so we took advantage of the gorgeous spring weather to have a family day out. Lots of walking. Restaurant lunch, but made healthy choices, and drank lots of water to combat sodium.
Su 07/04: 166.4: Goals: β Felt out of sorts today, despite sensible choices at the restaurant yesterday.
Mo 08/04: 165.8: Goals: β Great day today. Unexpected after the weekend, but a nice little whoosh this morning. It will probably bounce back up tomorrow.

REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Round three for me! We're in spring break at school and I have a lot on my calendar. We'll be celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, going to an MLB game, travelling to spend time with friends and their new baby, and gathering with family for Easter. This time, I'd like to average 100,000 steps for the ten days, so I'll need to add extra walking on days we're not driving. I'm not looking to actively lose weight this round, but I'd like to maintain my hard work from the last two rounds.

04/13 184.6 lb Holding steady! No workout yesterday due to a meeting that went long and unanticipated traffic on the way home. I had to get home to walk the pup! I tracked 11,415 steps. Take-out Thai food was dinner and I ate lightly throughout the day to not blow-out my calorie goals. I expect some sort of gain in the next couple of days due to planned events with high-calorie foods options.
04/14 184.6 lb Still looking good. I only tracked 5,150 steps yesterday so I'll need to take the dog out for a long walk later. We went out for lunch and it ended up being my only meal of the day and that allowed me to meet my calorie goals. Again, I'm anticipating a gain in the next couple of check-ins. We're heading to a baseball game this afternoon and I'm making a key lime pie for my boyfriend's birthday.

Bagel and cream cheese for breakfast, sausage and peppers and beer for lunch at the game (Go Red Sox!), and pizza, key lime pie, and GOT whiskey for dinner. Good thing birthdays only happen once a year. π I wish I checked my Fitbit before I took it off because it had tracked 9,982 steps. There's something about seeing the number go over 10,000 that I really enjoy. I've got three days of light eating planned and then we're off travelling for a few days.
04/16 187.0 lb Not surprised. I tracked 10,015 steps yesterday and went a little over my calorie goals. I'm definitely going to the gym this afternoon and walking the dog this morning because we're planning on going out for dinner. We put a water filter on our kitchen tap because the water was very metallic tasting, so I'm sure my water intake will be up. I'm looking for no gain tomorrow!
04/17 187.0 lb No gain! I had tons of water, tracked 13,598 steps, and burned about 300 calories at the gym. I've tracked a little over 50,000 steps for the last five days, so I'm on track to meet my step goal. I ate lightly throughout the day to help out my dinner calories, but I got a Long Island iced tea that I regret. It was all sour mix and not worth the calories. π More dog walking and another gym visit planned for this afternoon and then pub trivia with the family!
04/18 188.0 lb Yup. Beer and buffalo chicken sandwich for dinner. 15,315 steps tracked and about 40 minutes at the gym on the elliptical yesterday. Travelled 6 hours today and ate garbage food all day. I'm already looking forward to the next round to lose what I gained this round.

04/16- 15,217, hour walk, lots of hills, its been rainy all week. Eating healthy.
04/17-16,569 steps, sunny day, I`m really tired tonight.
04/18-Went to get my groceries for easter, then I went walking right away when I got back home hit 20,000 steps.

I only record water, I do drink tea and add the 'bag' to my meal or snack, as a reminder of what I have consumed each day.
I do not drink coffee or pop (soda). If I did I would record them with the meal/snack.
I did take time to slowly increase my water intake. Sometimes it is a challenge to drink enough water. I started with a glass first thing in the morning and one at each meal. I also keep a water bottle with me at work. I slowly I creased my glass size to 14 oz each meal and 24 oz water bottle. For a change I add a slice of lemon or lime to my water.6 -
Very good albiet crazy day, but I am now very tired. Have a 3 day weekend, which I really need. Am going to try to be particularly good the next couple days in anticipation of Easter.
My weight is still bouncing around, but the trend is downward.

βͺ04/15 186.6β¬ lbs had a bad day yesterday with cramps and back pain, so not much activity. Food-wise it was an ok weekend. Looking at Monday motivated!
βͺ04/16 186.1β¬ lbs Yesterday was a very good day exercise wise and also food wise. Even had some calories left over for a piece of chocolate (and stayed under my carbs goal! Yay!). Letβs do this again today!
04/17 184.8 lbs What a nice drop! Hopefully I can keep it. Made a semi-smart choice at the restaurant yesterday (very satisfying Couscous-Vegetable Stir-fry, left me with little calories for the rest of the day, but I got through with vegetables and fruit), so I will have to work on that.
04/18 184.6 lbs - wow! After having two scoops of ice cream with my son yesterday afternoon I was sure I was going to see a gain today. But I guess staying within my calorie limit and only eating veggies for dinner serves its purpose! Goal for today: going to the gym and finally tracking my water intake!
04/19 184.2 lbs never thought I was going to see another loss today. Did a lot of guessing yesterday and was a tiny bit over my calorie limit, but Iβll take it! Also did achieve both goals yesterday. Today involves a lot of cleaning, baking and preparing food for the upcoming Easter celebration. Weβll see how I do with all this delicious food around.

04/14 - 144.4lb (+0.1lb) OK with this - late dinner last night which was a carb heavier dinner than normal (home made chicken curry with rice and naan) but all within calories and macros for the day though. Big family Easter dinner this evening as we're away next weekend - don't intend to go mad but will treat myself to a glass of wine and a few chocolates and enjoy them
04/15 - 145.2lb (+0.8lb) OK with this after last nights family dinner and not unusual for weight to be up on a Monday All set for a good day and week ahead - fridge stocked, meals planned - off we go!!!
04/16 - 144.4lb (-0.8lb) So back where I was Sunday morning so happy with that. All set for today, gym session tonight..... Looking forward to seeing the weight continue to come off.....
04/17 - 144.5lb (+0.1lb) Bit disappointed - should've stayed in round 73! No reason for it as within calories and macros - can only think its my body deciding that it lost enough last round so going to stabilise for a bit (if that is even a reason????) I shall continue though and make the most of these last couple of days at home before we head away for the weekend (which won't be so easy ......)

Massive weight loss in R73 and now back to the see-saw again - only today left for me in this round but good food day planned and a gym session tonight (will weigh in early tomorrow morning before we go) but then 3 days of hotels, miles on the road and eating out as away for the girls cheerleading competition ......
