Alrighty folks. This thread has been cleaned up to remove some content that violated community guidelines. Please take a minute to consider that we DO have guidelines, and when posts that violate our CGs come to moderator attention, we do take action. However, the moderation team is fairly small, and y'all are... legion. So we do NOT see all posts across the entire community - we typically moderate based on user reports (meaning if it isn't reported, we're not likely to see it).
Now, having said that, forum moderation is not a topic for discussion in the community. The reason for this is that when this topic comes up drama almost always ensues, people end up taking passive-aggressive swipes at others, feelings get hurt, posts get reported and I have to wade in and issue warnings and clean up or remove threads... Which makes me angry. And trust me - you won't like me when I'm angry.
If you'd like to discuss moderation please PM any moderator or MFP staff member. Do not air those concerns in the community, lest ye be warned (arrrr).
