I host a board game night once a week, in a comic book store. We's all nerds here.

I also go to the shooting range once a month...does that work here too?

    Yup. Practice for FPS games!

    And, you know, zombie apocalypses

No one seems to notice that the logo for Hydra in the MCU is actually an octopus. A hydra has multiple heads, not arms.

Did anyone used to play Hero Quest?

    yes!

    The Grizzled
It's a German style cooperative card game
You try to survive WW1 relying on one another. This is a trench eye view of warfare.
This is the most depressing game you'll ever play.
The artwork on the cards is beautiful.
The cartoonist who drew them was killed by terrorists in the Charlie Hebdo attack in France.

Holy crap, The Grizzled is a TOUGH game, too. Never a clear-cut 'right' choice, and I'll second you on the depressing aspect. My friends and I beat it after a string of failures and it felt like we'd actually accomplished something. Great game.

Just FYI - I would avoid any personal information, even if it's just a game. I like all the gamers I've seen here. I would recommend letting people know you play a game and see if they want to add or be added and then getting that info thru PM's.
