To loose weight and be healthier.0

FOR looks and being 50 I want more strength as I age. I am a firm believer that as u age u workout more not less. Might be gross to some but I love that sweaty stinky feeling after a good workout!0

I rrally enjoy the benefits of being fit and healthy.....and its nice to have control over something in a world that doesnt allow that all that often.8

To avoid all of the health problems that run in my family and to be a good role model for my younger siblings 🥰 I also just enjoy how it makes me feel physically and emotionally.0

I saw pics of myself at my binge eating sedentary lifestyle a few years ago and decided I did not want to be that person. Now I enjoy looking at my reflection as I pass by, seeing the changes.
Stress relief
Longevity/health
I am enjoying learning discipline of eating healthy and hitting the gym1 -
Health?
Strength?
Functionality?
Looks?
Medals?
All of the above! I started working out, lifting, walking, biking, and eventually running, in order to help control my blood glucose and improve my diabetes. Gaining strength was an unexpectedly fun benefit, which also made me more able to function in my daily activities. At the age of 50 and starting from morbidly obese, I never expected to be “hot” again, but lately all kinds of people are chatting me up and my husband is delighted with my appearance. And recently (when I can avoid injury) I have discovered I am fast enough to win age group medals at some local events.0 -
More food. Plus it makes me feel good. Also increases my health.0

Because I want to:
1. Be competitive when I start running this horse next year.
2. Be the same size at 45 that I was at 30.
3. The thought be being a weak old woman freaks me out.
4. So that all the clothes in my closet fit.
5. I can't stand the idea letting myself go as I get older.
6. I LOVE being outdoors - it's good for the soul.
7. Wear a bikini without being embarrassed.

This is pretty fantastic6 -
I have a nuro muscular disease. It is killing my nerves and muscles. I also have had both knees replaced, back surgery and 3 heart attacks. I was a mess. I was so weak and unable to bend my knees. I hadn't been able to go up stairs, put on my shoes and socks, or walk even short distances in years.
So I had had enough. Started at at a popular woman's exercise chain. It saved my life. I have been doing that since October. Plus I walk now 3 days a week also. I can do all those things now.
I'm doing it so I can live.7 -
