Advice for a beginner please

Hi guys,
I just need some advice, i am new to training.
I am 28, 6ft and around 175lbs. I dont hav much muscle and have some excess fat, love handles and chest. Id probably be classed as skinny fat.

I wanted to know if im eating on a SMALL calorie deficit (2200 cal a day) will i be able to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time? As i am a noob.
The calorie calculator says i need 2350 calories.

Any advice will be appreciated
