08/01 134.0 Back from a conference trip with lots of eating out and drinking (and let the food logging slip because was afraid to count up the calories, but realize that is how it is so easy to derail and not get back on). First day back after long day of flying yesterday and weight is up 2.2 pounds from last weigh in on the 27th so not my best start to a round. I tend to gain a lot of water weight flying and expect I will get back to where I was before the trip pretty quickly but may need 2 more rounds to get to STG of getting into the 120's. Felt great to get back to the gym - step class and weights today (which may not help with water retention either!) but was able to increase weights on bench press, deadlifts and squats so trip did not seems to have an impact on strength! NSV: At least I am below the weight MFP predicted based on food diary for today!

Trying to figure out how to exercise those days to balance calories - may try to take my road bike (if the heat & humidity don't give me heat stroke) or see it i can get a temporary pass for the little gym in the town. It will be just me and my daughters while they are are a sailing camp so I will not be out until 1+ with friends drinking (part of the downfall of last round in addition to foie gras etc), but sometimes you just need a break and need to take time to enjoy good food and company!9 -

08/01 65.0kg...well it did say 64.95 but I don't believe the scale is that accurate so I rounded up. At least it moved slightly. My best friend is visiting for a few days... This is my tall, skinny, naturally OMAD, friend who gets all their calories from alcohol! (we currently weigh the same but with a 9 inch height difference 😁) They were supposed to visit for my birthday next week but plans changed so this means I'm going to have my 1st alcoholic drinks since I started losing weight on the 6th January to celebrate early birthday. Thankfully I've always been a hopeless drinker so a couple of gins will do and I'll be back to my teetotal ways!

I am in again and have done 13 rounds with the last 2 being weight gain and taking 3 rounds off. It is starting to get depressing but I am the reason for the gain. Good training session yesterday, but the rest if the day seemed meh. Feel like I need another few hours of sleep.... GOT to get to bed earlier.
