Snark is how I relate to people
your comments are the best but they not like rude snarky more like facetious snarky

I can't relate to people that do not take "no," for an answer. Just because it was a polite no thank you doesn't mean it wasn't a "NO" answer.
I also can't relate to people that continually sign up for something or RSVP to an event and then flake out last minute on a regular basis. (Emergencies, illness, and social anxiety are not the issue in this case) If you commit to a project/event, then show up! Don't message someone hours before saying "hey, can you pick up the project I signed up for" but won't actually get my rear in gear to attend the workshop? Sorry.... just gets me. Once, I could understand...4 months in a row?! No thanks.

I don't know how to relate to people who live at the absolute edge of their means. I am absolutely NOT talking about people who are truly in poverty and struggling financially because of that. I'm talking about the people who make a good salary but want to have the biggest house, the fanciest car, the nicest of everything in life and then they're upset when they can't afford more or they are struggling to pay for something unexpected that pops up. I am the opposite and sometimes to a fault...like I'm way too cheap. But I have a couple of acquaintances who will take a weekend job AND an evening job to afford a 2019 vehicle when their 2015 vehicle is operating perfectly. I can't relate to that.5

I don’t know how to relate to people who... Are family members, friends and co-workers. Strangers are ideal because naturally, they pretty much keep to themselves...

I don’t know how to relate to people who are highly judgemental of others.
We all have flaws and faults. Sweep your own back porch.....live and let live......all those good ole adages that add up to - if it ain’t hurting anyone, mind your own business 😊5 -

I can’t relate to flaky people, people who are always late, or people who ask to borrow money, then don’t pay it back.

Try working with people like that.... it's exhausting
I think of it as "imaginary futures".
It's okay to have goals ( I guess ), but living in a grounded reality seems to work pretty well for most of us.
You think most people live in a grounded reality?? I’m not sure that that is the reality I know but perhaps I’m wrong and/or it is different for you.
Yep, I live in a 100% grounded reality; I don't lie to myself about anything.
.... and sometimes, but thankfully not often, it really sucks too.
That’s cool but I’m not sure that the majority of people live that way.

idk how to relate to people who are "happy morning people", people who wake early and thrive (wish I was one of you, must be nice to wake and be happy for the day instead of longing for the night, and zombie-ing through the day like I do).
I'm a night person and always have been, even when I was a little kid...got super stressed out knowing it was like 3 am and I had to go to school soon, and I couldn't concentrate on any morning classes...afternoon I started to perk up a bit.
...I'm awake now at 6 am, but didn't sleep at all yet...if it was a work day I'd be considering just saying "*kitten* it all", "I don't need my job, just a bit of sleep, then I'll deal with the consequences later"
...hmmm, maybe I'll just try to stay awake night and day and see how that goes, eventually I'll get that elusive "rest", more than 3 hours of sleep?
Sometimes I don't want to try to sleep tho too, b/c I'm afraid this is it, may be my last day, who knows? Like "enjoy the present"9 -

I enjoyed reading this. I am sort of a morning person. Well I was before i have had a recent life changing event and so now i have a little more pressure and I feel I want to stay asleep. Worried about what the next day is going to throw at me.
But when I do get up and go to the gym first off I feel I have beat the day, and energized. It last all day. I also found bc I feel great it spread to the kids. It is rewarding. But lately I am struggling. I have to keep reminding myself how I felt the times I got up.
All the best for your day. Hope u can have a better night tonight.5 -

1. Can't laugh at themselves
2. Live in the past
3. Play the victim
4. Won't put down their stupid smart phones....ever
5. Talk with their mouths full of food
6. Are afraid to try anything new
7. Have an inflated sense of self-importance
8. Don't get sarcasm
9. Talk endlessly about their kids/grandkids
10. Whine
11. Abuse animals
12. Don't or won't or can't apologize
13. Make stupid lists like this...3 -
I can't relate to people who don't take accountability for their actions or inactions.2

To ppl who try to show how bad they are by blowing up on someone or trying to fight someone to demonstrate dominance idk - I just don’t get it 🤷♂️ I tell my son that’s a coward move - a man will consider the consequences of his actions before he reacts - a coward Simply reacts and deals with the chit storm after - chill tf out ppl7

I only worry about those things within my control.
.... and to tell you the truth, that ain't much.2 -
There's 2 types of people I can't relate to.
People who think Michael Jackson was weird and people who are unconcerned with what's happening in the Amazon rainforest. My hands are sweating just typing this.0 -
I don't know how to relate to people who deeply worry about popcorn ceilings, vinyl flooring, or oak cabinetry.1

Nope...strictly concerned with what's "in" and what's considered out of date.
I will give people the benefit of the doubt if they're actively trying to sell a home, especially in a buyer's market. But I've long laughed about this when watching some of the HGTV shows or listening to colleagues discuss remodeling projects.
I know I'm kind of a cheapskate weirdo. I do like decor and all that stuff. But I'm perfectly fine with my popcorn ceilings, oak cabinets, and easy care vinyl floor. I also have easy care counter tops instead of granite. If that keeps some people from coming to my girls' night in, I didn't want them there anyway! haha2 -

Perhaps you'd like to hear about me stripping.... a hideous old 40s painted drop-leaf table... down to bare wood.
Stained and varnished, it's been my kitchen table for over 15 years.0 -
