I've hit a plateau! Does anyone have any tricks or suggestions on how to break it?

How long has it been?
Starting, current and goal weight?

I started 04/17/19 at 186lbs and I am down to 161lbs but have been stuck here. My gw is 140lbs.1

My wife and myself did a three day egg fast and it crushed through that plateau and got us moving again. We did the three day fast.15

I am willing to try anything, how does it work? Do you just eat eggs for all meals?1

That's not at all necessary. Plateaus and fluctuations are a natural part of the process. There's no reason to do something drastic.
Just be patient. You've had great success so far.7 -

I hit stalls about every 10 lbs lost. It's normal.2

What is a 3 day egg fast? Can you not eat eggs for 3 days?0 -

How long have you been stalled for? Any recent changes to the routine (new exercise, etc.?) Cheat days? Are you eating back exercise calories? Any chance you'd be willing to open your diary for a bit to let us see more of what might be happening? Stalls are annoying but they usually don't require drastic measures. We don't have a lot of information to work with here. Since you're getting closer to goal weight, the loss is naturally going to slow down. Patience, accuracy, and consistency are usually the keys.5 -

If you were eating eggs, how is it a fast? I'm confused.4 -
It's also a good idea to re-evaluate every 10lbs or so...

So you've lost 25 lbs in 15 weeks, that's excellent progress - 1.5lbs per week! Considering your stats, you really can't expect to lose faster than that, and it's perfectly normal to have a week or two every once and awhile where the scale doesn't do what you want. Your body has more than just fat in it, that other stuff (especially water) fluctuates, and you will sometimes see those fluctuations on the scale.
Please don't do any silly fad diets or fasts to fight what is perfectly normal, and read this post:
