08/21- 172.4 Todayβs drop is probably just water weight. I played a lot of tennis yesterday in humid conditions so not getting too excited about the numbers yet.
08/22- 173.3 Just as I expected. Kept calories low but I figured the weight would go back up a little once I was properly hydrated. No planned activity yesterday or for the next few days. May need to get on the treadmill (which I hate!!!)

08/28 β¦..195.6 LOSS β¦.. Okay, so Iβve lost part of Mondayβs travel & binge weight. But more to go. If I want to lose the 2 pounds that are goal I need to weigh 193.4 and that may not happen. However, I will be flushing & trying hard today to make some sort of difference. Yesterdayβs stats: 1280 Calories In / 3047 Calories Out. 46 Net Carbs . 19,224 Total Steps & 8.13 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept 6 hours & 4 minutes which was wonderful! I rigorously cleaned the tourist cabins for 162 minutes & I took a nice moderately paced walk for 70 minutes. Total extra calorie burn was 1159 which helped me reach over 3000 for the day. Happy hump day everyone!
08/29 β¦..195.4 LOSS β¦.. Dang! I was hoping for a bit more of a drop since we are so close to the end of the round. However, we did enjoy a steak bbq yesterday with my brother & my neighbor (walking partner). I kept it reigned in but did have some potatoes. I was under calories with my exercise accounted for, and at the high end of my carb allowance. Yesterdayβs stats: 1527 Calories In / 2706 Calories Out. 45 Net Carbs. 13,481 Total Steps & 5.7 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 50 minutes. I did not get in my whole walk yesterday due to work & BBQ prep, but I did manage a 38 minute walk at 2.0 mph leisure pace. I also did leisure cleaning in my own home (not the cabins) for about 49 minutes. Total extra calorie burn just 383. Slightly over on what I would normally eat for cals & carbs, slightly under what I would normally do for extra exercise & movement, wellβ¦β¦now that explains the lack of loss Iβd hoped for. Iβm happy to have a least kept it under control. Iβll be extra restrictive today on my last possible day of the round to make a splash!

8/21: 225.6 (-0.6)/19.1 (-0.1). There was a lunch celebration/going away party at work yesterday. I was very mindful about what I ate, and particularly how much. I also skipped dessert completely. Dinner was not the healthiest thing I've ever had, but I chose carefully in order to stay within calories. Today was a victory in that this was a situation in the past in which I may have very easily been derailed. I'm going to try again tonight to hit the gym. I need to check in with my wife before she leaves work to confirm that she is going to make it home on time; otherwise I'll go by myself.
8/22: 225.8 (+0.2)/19.1 (0.0). Food quantity has been pretty good, but I could do better on food quality. And exercise has GOT to make its way back into my life at some point as well. I think basketball is not coming back for another two weeks (first day will likely be 9/7/2019).
8/23: 227.0 (+1.2)/19.3 (+0.2). Okay, yesterday was pretty bad. There was an all-day meeting at the office, celebratory drinks after said meeting, and my mother's 79th birthday yesterday (Mexican dinner out, cake after). I did my best to make healthy choices, but I'm pretty sure I was significantly over in calories. I'm going to make today a good day, and I'm going to focus on having a HEALTHY CHOICE weekend (planning what I'm going to eat in advance, ESPECIALLY if/when I'm going to be eating out). It's looking more and more like I will not be seeing the basketball court tomorrow. I'm going to commit to hitting the gym at least once this weekend (today, Saturday, or Sunday).

8/26: 229.0 (+2.0)/19.5 (+0.3). I had an emotional, sucky weekend, and it took a bit of energy to login today to get back on track and remain accountable. Well, here I am. I'm adjusting my goal, and I'll be ecstatic if I'm able to get back to my starting weight for the round (though any progress in the downward direction would be nice at this point).
8/27: 228.6 (-0.4)/19.4 (-0.1). At this point I'm just focusing on posting here every day to be accountable. Most days (other than the weekend) I'm doing relatively well with food, but exercise has been difficult to come by. It kind of feels like I'm half-@$$ing it, but if I'm being kind to myself I would recognize that I have a lot going on right now, and my motivation is obviously affected. I'll choose "being kind to myself" for now.
8/28: 227.8 (-0.8)/19.3 (-0.1). I mostly did okay yesterday. I had a little more than I wanted to for dinner, but not too much. I'm happy to have what feels like a little bit of progress the past couple of days.
8/29: 225.8 (-2.0)/19.1 (-0.2). Hmm, definitely a WHOOSH, yet I don't really feel like celebrating. I have a bunch of crap going on in my life, so I'm going to have to try really hard to recognize my progress and notice any success(es) I might have. I've been consistently eating under maintainence for the past three days, and I have generally been avoiding temptation (sticking with healthy-ish snacks). Basketball officially starts 9/7/19; it's been too long, and life is definitely not as fun without it.

08/21 - 192.8. -5lbs. This is my first weigh in since starting 21 Day Fix 10 days ago and going lower carb so much of this is probably water weight but im happy!!
08/22 - 193.2 (+0.4) carbby /salty dinner last night
08/23 - 194.8 (+1.6) this one I'm surprised with. I did 17000 steps yesterday and a short workout and my fitbit said I burned about 3000 calories but only ate 1500. I had a shwarma salad for dinner from a restaurant. Maybe it's really high in sodium? Not worried - just surprised.

08/21 138.4, difficult boxing class yesterday but made it through. Love that there are classes I can finish now that I would have been struggling with before. Happy hour after work today so will try to bank some calories for that.
08/22 138.4, ended up eating dinner really late (9:45pm) so happy to see this number. Back to normal today with all meals prepped at home. Hoping to combat any lingering weight gain from yesterday.
08/23 138, back to my lowest weight this weight loss journey and matches a five year low. 65.7% of the way to my goal so hoping to see 2/3rds by the end of the month. Going to food truck meetup tonight so weight might be up a bit tomorrow for sodium, but will keep my calories in check.
08/24 138, ate well yesterday, but went way over today. I had a milkshake and had no idea how many calories are in them! Feel terrible both physically (body is not very used to that food anymore) and about stalling this weekβs progress for a while. Tomorrow is another day and keep learning that some foods are deceptively high calories.
08/25 138.9, slight blip, but will hopefully will be going back down as we end the round

08/27 138, took a barre class yesterday and will do elliptical today. I want to work up to being able to do 4-5 of those classes a week, but still get pretty sore so canβt work out the same muscle groups 2 days in a row.
08/28 137.7, leftovers and a spin class with a friend should call for a good diet day. Iβm optimistic will end the round in a loss because of the end date being a weekday vs weekend

08/21: 137.4 lbs - haven't worked out in a few days (self imposed hiatus to heal my shoulder/elbow) and had a salty late night snack last night, not a good choice. Tonight will be better - my late night snacking buddy will be out of town .
08/22: 136.0 lbs - hmmm, barely ate yesterday so this will probably go back up but pretty cool to see this number. I did work out just a little last night but am back to taking time off for a couple more days. Hoping my neck/shoulder/elbow is all better before my tournament this Sunday. No LNS yesterday.
08/23: 135.6 lbs - maybe a week of not working out is just what my body needed. Planning to work out tomorrow and then Iβve got a big tournament Sunday, will see how the scale responds.
08/24: 135.6 lbs - two days in a row at this number. Nice. Worked out just a couple hours in the sun, took it easy. Have a dinner out with friends tonight, will try to stay on track.
08/25: DNW, up and out too early. Had a pickleball tournament about an hour away, we came in second. Again. Almost as frustrating as trying to lose weight .
08/26: 137.2 lbs - not surprised, the last few days caught up with me and I was craving salt yesterday. Besides, this is the weight my body likes to be at, spent the last 2 months moving back and forth from this number. Just going to keep moving forward with good choices, they will pay off eventually. Maybe I need to do a fast day or something?
08/27: 137.2 lbs - my body's happy weight. Doesn't help that I just can't seem to buckle down and make the necessary changes needed to get to the next level of weight loss. Seems something always comes up. Dinner party over the weekend, fundraiser last night, vacation, etc.
08/28: DNW, forgot to weigh when I got up and certainly not going to do it now that I've eaten and dressed .
08/29: 136.6 lbs - might not stick since I woke up with a really yucky cold and who knows how that effects my weight. But I'll take it for now .

08/21 - 206!! Yay! Starting this round out with a drop. Didn't sleep very much and have a bad migraine today, will probably not exercise but I'll at least take the dog for a walk. Sticking to my macro/calorie goals with my meal plan and hoping to feel better tomorrow
08/22 - 206.3! No clue what made it go up a bit but I'm starting to learn my weight fluctuates all the time so I'm trying to focus on the trend which is definitely going down. My TOM is probably not helping anything here either. Stuck to calories/macros, didn't exercise very much just walking
08/23 - 204.4!! Holy cow, what a drop! Doubt I'll stay this low through the rest of the week but it makes me feel good to see a 4 on the scale π€© Did a really intense workout today and am sticking to cals/macros so hopefully I continue to make progress
08/24 - 204.4 again! Wahoo! I was sure yesterday's weigh-in was a fluke but I didn't fluctuate at all overnight. I'm sure I'll fluctuate again later but at least this means that 4 wasnt a total fluke. Will try to kayak later today and sticking well to my food goals today. My FH is having a boys weekend at our house this weekend and their wives cancelled our girls weekend at the last minute so I'm going to try to keep myself busy with hikes and kayaks and chores so I'm not awkwardly in the way of their boy-time. Hopefully that means extra exercise and less food temptations than I'd planned for this weekend
08/25 - 203.6! Wow, can't believe it! Another drop π€© so happy. Had a really frustrating day yesterday, major car troubles, then waiting at mechanic for it to be fixed, then leaving realizing it wasnt fixed, going back, waiting again, leaving again, realizing again, going back again... Didn't get much exercise then but I also didnt have time to eat much so I guess that's why there's a drop. Hopefully will have time to kayak or do something fun today. On track to stick to calorie goals for the day so far.
08/26 - 204.4 and back up again! The ways of the fluctuating weight, I guess, but still on a downward trend so I'm happy. Ended up having even more car troubles and getting a flat tire, so spent most of the day fixing that Trying to get some work done today and focusing on sticking to my calorie goals and finding some time to exercise today.
08/27 - 204.8 up again! No clue why, hopefully just weight fluctuations. My weight loss progress chart is just a series of zig zags at this point π going to the gym today to get a lot of cardio in and sticking to my calories so I can hopefully get that zig to zag its way back down
08/28 - 204.8! Ugh... Still up. I wish I could understand why I fluctuate so much for seemingly no reason. Moving forward... Good gym workout and planning to stay on track with calories today. Hoping to see a drop in the scale soon.

08/21 201.2 (-.4) had a late weigh In today. Got up and left the house early. This weigh in was after breakfast and lunch. So not too bad of results. Well see what tomorrow brings.
08/22 199.6 (-1.6) well this game as a shock to me. Although I felt I did pretty good with my calories. I wasnβt amazing. And I even went to the dodger game had a few drinks. Iβm happy with the result. Now as long as I can keep this trend weβll be great!

8/21 - 157.5 - the catch up from the carb-o-licious Monday. Made it to the pool and could actually get in finally! Iβm 6 weeks post-op and my restrictions are lifted. T-minus 2 weeks until I return to work!
8/22 - 156.5 - the turn around in eating makes all the difference. And sticking to it. I was βlazyβ yesterday. Swam, ran errands, watched Supernatural on Netflix, did very little cleaning, but I made sure to watch my food and drink my water. Iβm hooked on βpork rind chipsβ for a crunchy snack lately. I can season them with whatever sounds good at the time and crunch away. Today is gym day and some serious cleaning.
8/23 - 157.5 - Iβm sure the weight is water retention. I kicked my own booty in the gym yesterday!
8/24 - 158 - too many carbs, sore muscles from more gym time yesterday. Need to check myself and chug my water.

8/27 - 157 - my weight is down, and so are my emotions, so I expect this to change. Iβm completely out of ketosis. Itβs like watching a cruise ship hit the dock. I see myself spiraling. 8/28 - 157.5 - itβs AMAZING what one day can do! My weight is up a little, but Iβm completely back in ketosis. I havenβt been drinking enough water, but Iβll catch up today. Mowing my honeyβs back yard. Mowed the front last night. Good workout & it just felt good. Going to try to get back to OMAD.
8/29 - 157 - OMAD didnβt go so well after all that activity. I felt soooooo hungry last night! Itβs all about pacing. Still need to finish of strong.9 -
I'm back and hoping to get rid of the almost 10 pounds I "gained" in the last round. I know it isn't a real gain, but it's still very annoying. I was dealing with hormones and the a death in the family last round, so it just wasn't a great round for me. I have been doing this long enough to know that freaking out isn't going to do anything and I just need to get back on the horse and take care of business. I just found out we will be leaving on the last day of this round and going to Texas for my father-in-laws funeral services. So I have 10 days to get back down, so that I can take a 4 day weekend and hopefully do better than last weekend.

08/21 - 145.1 and just like that, there goes 3 pounds of sodium/stress weight overnight. Crazy what a little bit of water and eating at home does for you. Today is all set and I should be down more tomorrow. Things are finally calming down at home and after a long drive by the lake last night to clear our heads, my husband and I slept like babies. Amazing how you feel so different after a great nights sleep.
08/22 - 144.1 was within calories and probably would have been lower, but I chose to use soy sauce on my rice last night for dinner. So my sodium was way higher for the day than it should have been. As long as I can get back down to 142/141 something by the end of this round and stay there for a couple of days I will be happy.
08/23 - 142.1 And I am back here. I think this is a realistic weight for me right now. I have been at 142.xxx for 10 out of 23 days this month. I have been lower and higher, but it always comes back to here. Hopefully I can consistently see 141 before leaving next Friday, but you never know what's going to happen. Was very low cal all day yesterday and should be today as well.
08/24 - 142.1 Was on point again yesterday. Cleaning, laundry, errands, and grocery shopping is on the to do list today. So hopefully I donβt fall off the wagon this weekend.
08/25 - 143.1 up a bit and no real reason that I should be. Had a couple of beers watching the Cowboys game last night so maybe itβs because of that. Going to lunch with family and having a fantasy football draft party tonight. So Iβm expected to be up tomorrow a bit, but hopefully not to bad.
08/26 - 146.9 My normal Monday blip up. Had breakfast out yesterday morning and took a rest day. I am really sore for some reason today, maybe from all the activity I did on Saturday and I had a pretty restless nights sleep last night. Was hoping to be lower, but with everything going on right now, I am just happy that I am able to maintain at this point. I ate a few 100 calories over yesterday, but this is all sodium and water retention from not eating my normal foods. I should be back down by Tuesday and hopefully finish the month at 141. If I can do that it will at least give me a 2lb loss for the month.
08/27 - 144.1 It's amazing how much restaurant food and a Bloody Mary affect me. I was totally within calories, but the sodium that they must cook with kills me every time. We always go out and eat on Sunday's with a lot of our family just to catch up and stuff and I gain at least 3-4 pounds every time. I go home and drink tons of water afterwards, but it always shows on the scale the next morning. I'm so used to it by now that it doesn't even bother me. By tomorrow I will be back down to my normal 142.xxx and maybe see that elusive 141.xx before we leave on Friday for my FIL funeral in Texas.
08/28 - 142.7 now if I could actually make some progress the next couple of days that would be great!
08/29 - 143.5 This is from eating dinner at 8:30 last night and we decided to get Whataburger. I ate a grilled chicken sandwich with only half of the bun and that kept me within calories, but I am sure the sodium and the timing of dinner did not help my weigh in this morning. August has been a complete wash at this point. My happy scale app says my trend weight is down .2 from last month and I only lost about a pound and a half. My non-scale achievements were way better. My waste measurements are down to about 27-1/2" to 28" depending on the day and my "mom pooch" is down to about 31". My thighs are also down to about 19-1/2" to 20" too. I also just had to buy some new jeans and they were a size 6. I haven't bought a size 6 in about 5 years. Now granted I still bought the high wasted mom jeans to help suck that lovely mom pooch I have back in, but I am calling it a win. I will probably finish tomorrow at 142.xxx and I am fine with that. Maybe September will be a better month for me, lol.

08/25 - 223.6 - Flushed a lot of the sodium from Friday out of my system. Yesterday was a more active day as I was at the church picnic and did a lot more moving around. I've been off of my exercise game since I came back from Orlando. I was sick and the fatigue I was battling was my excuse. I've now been back for 2 weeks and should have no excuses. - I hit my step goal yesterday!
08/26 - 222.4 - Yay! Total surprise, but not really. I've been fairly good with meeting my food goals. - Did not meet my step goals yesterday despite all the housework I did.
08/27 - 222.2 - Hit my step target yesterday! My oldest and I went for a 3.5k walk last night. My math was way off yesterday. I won't hit my goal of 8 out of 10 days, but I'm going to push to hit 7 as that is what's possible.
08/28 - forgot to weigh in this morning. I did make my step goal yesterday after doing 1 hour of Zumba.
08/29 - 223 - Ate too much sodium yesterday, but I did hit my step goal by going for a walk with my son. I'm really enjoying the quality time we get to spend together while on these walks.
