@deepwoodslady - You're not kidding that Lady Marmalade is a great dance song!!! I can remember taping that song from the radio on my red panasonic tape recorder, haha. I know what I'll ask my Alexa to play when I get home from work tonight.

Gosh!! Those were the days - holding the microphone next to the radio, gauging the start and end of the song whilst trying to avoid the DJ's talking and hoping that periferal sounds aren't picked up!! People do not know their born these days with Alexa, Goodle, spotify etc. !!!!!!!!!! (Are we really showing our age?) Hehe.

    OSW- 283.5
    SGW - 250
    UGW: OneDerLand

    Round 94: SW 283.5 EW 281.0 - loss of 2.5lbs.
    Round 95: SW 281.3 EW 284.8 - gain of 3.5lbs

11/09 – 281.3/+0.3 – got up and went to the gym…I find that if I wait until later it will not happen. New 10 days to focus on exercise and food logging. I’m getting back into the groove and feel much better and excited to see my results for this round!

11/10 – 281.3/no change. Went to the gym, but still trying to get my nutrition together.

    11/11 – 281.5/+0.2 – Went to the gym – bad food choices today……smh

11/12 – 282.1/+0.6 – back to my work week – got up and went to the gym and my focus is that gallon of water and better nutritional choices.

    11/13 – 285/+2.9 – not sure what’s going on here….probably the pizza

11/14 – 282.8/-2.2 – still struggling to get my food choices down. Honey’s B-Day today so not the best week .

    11/15 – 283.7/+0.9 – Birthday dinner and cake……

    11/16 – 282.8/-0.9 – no gym

    11/17 – 282.8/no change – no gym

    11/18 – 284.8/+2.0 – no gym

I’ve found that I need to really focus on both my nutrition and workouts. Yes…I have been going to the gym consistently, but I have not been intensifying my workouts or doing weights. Kind of calling it in. As far as the food goes….not making bad choices but not making the best choices either. On to the next 10 days – going to get this going and finish the month off strong!

Original Starting Weight: 386.6 lbs, 1/1/2019
Long term Goal Weight: 186.6 lbs

Round 95, 12th Round for Me
    Starting Weight: 291.0 lbs
    Goal Weight: 289.0 lbs

    Day/Weight/Comment

11/09: 290.6 lbs (-0.4), 15,543 steps … a loss to start the round off on the right foot. Taking the family on a day trip to NYC today to visit the Bronx Zoo.

11/10: 290.5 lbs (-0.1), 17,178 steps … took a long walk to the store today, stopped and had lunch then walked home again. 6.5 miles round trip. Then immediately zonked out and napped for a while :)

11/11: 289.7 lbs (-0.8), 19,123 steps … a new low, and finally sub-290. Been hovering between 290-294 since the end of October, so I’m really glad to see some movement in the right direction.

11/12: 289.0 lbs (-0.7), 16,125 steps … another new low. Feels good to see the number on the scale go down day after day. Had a very active day yesterday, 2+ hours walking, a short run, 25 minutes strength training and then another 25 minutes playing Beat Saber in the evening. I wound up being so tired that I went to bed at 9:30pm.

11/13: 288.2 lbs (-0.8), 21,491 steps … another new low. This has been a really good week for me. I’ve been pushing myself to walk 15-18k steps per day lately for a step challenge at work and I think that was what I needed to start seeing results again.

11/14: 285.6 lbs (-2.6), 17,164 steps … whoa. Another new low. I had to weigh myself three times this morning to convince myself this drop was real and not some sort of scale malfunction. I’m in an amazing mood today as this pushed me over the -100 lb mark. To top it off, I’m wearing a shirt today that didn’t fit a week or so ago.

11/15: 285.2 lbs (-0.4), 18,587 steps … another new low. I can’t believe it, to be honest. I’ve never seen consistent weight loss like this. Must be all the walking along with continuing my running and strength training. If I make this my new normal, rather than just for the duration of the step challenge…

11/16: 285.8 lbs (+0.6), 13,822 steps … that was a nice streak while it lasted! Still very happy with my progress this round.

    11/17: 286.0 lbs (+0.2), 9,181 steps

11/18: 286.9 lbs (+0.9), 10,105 steps … had a couple low key days this weekend, though still trying to get a decent amount of activity in. Some more uptick on the scale, but nothing I’m overly concerned about. Overall I'm very happy with how this round went.

    Challenge delta: -4.1 lbs
    Total Weight Loss: 99.7 lbs

    My jgm10d History
    R84: 319.3 (+0.5)
    R85: 314.7 (-4.6)
    R86: 311.5 (-3.2)
    R87: 309.7 (-1.8)
    R88: 307.8 (-1.9)
    R89: 303.1 (-4.7)
    R90: 299.1 (-4.0)
    R91: 298.1 (-1.0)
    R92: 297.1 (-1.0)
    R93: 290.6 (-6.5)
    R94: 291.0 (+0.4)
    R95: 286.9 (-4.1)

    My Plan
    Phase 1: 1/1/2019 (386.6 lbs) - 8/1/2019 (317.7 lbs)
    • Log all foods as I eat them
    • Aim for 2000 calories/day intake
    • Increase walking, park further away at work
    Phase 2: 8/1/2019 (317.7 lbs) - 10/18/2019 (296.5 lbs)
    • Push exercising more, starting with cardio / running
    • Couch to 5k Program
    • Aim for 2000-2200 calories/day intake
    Phase 3: 10/19/2019 (296.5 lbs) - current
    • Intermittent Fasting 16:8, targeting 1700-1800 calories/day intake.
    • Running 30-40 minutes, 3 days per week.
    • Strength training with a personal trainer once per week, one session on my own.
    • Walking at least 12,000 steps per day.

@tinabambina29 When my older daughter ( @MBabydoll ) was in 9th grade she had oral surgery. The dentist had me come in as she woke up. She looked at me and asked when they were going to start and she was amazed when I told her it was over! Sometimes drugs are a Godsend!

@IsMollyReallyHungry I am so proud of you for what you have accomplished! You can do this! Onward and DOWNWARD!

My goals this round is (1) to see at least 4 days under 140 (2) drop my 10 day average another pound and (3) not to have a weight higher than 142.00. I would also like to see 138.xxx on the scale, but with 2 weekends in this round and starting so high from last round we will see what happens.

(started rnd 58 only include last 5 rounds of stats)
    Round 90: 143.7 - 140.9 Avg 142.68
    Round 91: 140.9 - 143.6 Avg 143.62
    Round 92: 143.6 - 141.5 Avg 142.01
    Round 93: 141.5 - 142.3 Avg 143.21
    Round 94: 142.3 - 143.4 Avg 140.93

11/09 - 140.7 back down today. My husband wants to go and try this new Mexican food place that just opened so I am sure I will be back up. I don't know what is up with him and eating out the last couple of days, but it is his birthday so all I can do is fight through my sodium gains.

11/10 - 144.3 dang this is from a Bloody Mary and my food yesterday. I am pretty sure I was at maintenance calories, but the sodium was through the roof. I am going to try and drink a lot of water today.

11/11 - 143.4 well I am back down to my Fridays weight. I am so glad my husbands bday weekend is over and I can get back to normal. I was under calories yesterday, but didn't get my water in at all. Although I did have to go and get my ring from the jeweler yesterday and was shocked it fit even with my sodium intake. I took in it 2 weeks ago to get it re-sized. I had to have it taken in 2 sizes because I was worried I was going to lose it, since it was so loose. I am now a size 6 on my ring finger, lol!

11/12 - 141.3 And we are going back down after a decent amount of water yesterday. On track for today and dinner should be low calorie tonight. Maybe I will see 139.xx again tomorrow.

11/13 - 139.7 Back down to my lowest number this month. I am hoping by Friday I will see a new low, but not holding my breath. I was under yesterday just by a little, no alcohol, and plenty of water. That's 2 days in a row and on my way to a 3rd. I am going to try and do 5 days straight with all 3 of those things and see what happens.

11/14 - 139.7 Hopefully I don't see an uptick tomorrow from last nights shenanigans. We ended up going to a college basketball game unexpectedly and I had a really big hamburger, and a couple of beers, but I did not eat any fries. I know I was a little over, so I expected it to show today. Sometimes it takes 2 days to show, but maybe I wasn't as bad as I thought. I am trying my best today to be under calories, no alcohol, and drink a ton of water to avoid that uptick. We will see what happens I guess.

11/15 - 140.6 And there is that bump up that I was talking about. It wasn't that bad though, so I am ok with it. Had a great day yesterday and working on one for today. Hopefully I can get somewhere next week.

    11/16 - 140.6

    11/17 - 141.3

    11/18 - 141.3

So I am updating late. The weekend kind of got away from me. We had some family issues going on and never got a chance to update. So here are my results for this round (1) I am lower than I ended last round, but still trying to get into 130's decade and (2) I am up just a bit on my 10 day average. Maybe next round I can do better.

@tinabambina29 I was put under for mine (first time) and I was so nervous but it worked out really well for me. I think I did better being under than being awake as any dental work gives me such bad anxiety that I start getting physically sick (a lot of bad experiences) and going under kept me from being aware of what was going on. Luckily the nurse knew my position and stayed in my line of sight and kept giving me reassuring hand squeezes and calming words until I was out. Then she made sure she was the first one I saw when I came to so that I had a friendly face to focus on as my mind adjusted.

Luckily, I didn't have dry socket but man was I scared a couple of times because I pushed the limits of doc's orders. Don't be like me!

Thank you so much! This is so reassuring for me and definitely made me feel better :)
