When I first signed on to these challenges over 2 years ago I thought it was strictly a weight loss challenge. I noticed that someone was posting daily that she was around 105-110# and I really didn’t understand WHY she was still hanging out here. At my then weight in the high 160’s getting to my goal seemed so far off. As I approached my own goal, I realized how important the accountability was to me and so understood that tiny person’s daily posts. I don’t remember who she was, nor do I know what happened to her. Now below my original goal, I understand the accountability and the importance of daily posting - or if I’m traveling, keeping track of whatever I can to post when I again have an internet connection. I encourage you all to stick around and post daily. This is a wonderful, supportive group and we love having YOU join us!
Thanks for sharing and reposting this🌹8 -
@kmfeig87 -- My thoughts will be with you tomorrow. Praying you will manage any side affects, if any. (((Hugs)))6

Goals
1 - Track my calories daily
2 - Run (or gym) 5x week
3 - Water 1.5l
4.- Stay on current weight or less
Date – Weight in of the morning– Summary of the previous day:
11/19 152.8 (-1.6) 1194 cal, 4310 steps, very surprised by this drop but who am I to complain I did feel like doing a happy dance this morning when I saw the scales as it's the first time in 10 years that I've seen 152.x which is under 70kg!! 😉 On a different subject,I’m painting my living room at home, which isn’t the best of ideas in winter, but it’s keeping me active and stopping me from snacking in the evenings! Today I’m going to the gym at lunch time and painting the 2nd layer on the ceiling this evening. Food is generally on track and I've downloaded an app to remind me to drink more water.
11/20 153.4 (+0.6) 1268 cal, 14.283 steps, 3.85 km run A good day all over yesterday. A slight gain today but not too worried. I spent a good month oscillating between 154.x and 153.x so I’m hoping now that it’ll be between 153 and 152 😉 The app to remind me to drink water is a big help so far as I was on track yesterday. Nothing special planned today but the usual running around and painting this evening.

@LisaW57 Thank you so much for taking the time for all that information, it's great! there's a lot for all situations and so many will be easy to implement hoping I won't give in to temptations!
Yesterday the first evening I stayed away from the snacks all together (it was cocktails and canapés). Thursday and Friday I also have early holiday dinners and I think I'll fill up on soup before going out, I'm hoping it'll keep me from temptation! A bit like not going to the supermarket on an empty stomach8 -

JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS ~|~ Round 96 (round 28 for me ) I'm in for another round, can't believe how many I've cpmpleted already! I need to continue losing my cheeky pre-Brexit weeks holiday gain. Christmas and the celebration season is looming and I'd like to get down to 131 before then; must really dig in!
Female age 61 5' 4”
Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !
Goal ain to get back to good habits: be mindful of what I eat & drink and keep walking.End of round 69 134.2 lbs

Day/Weight/Comment
11/19 134.4 – 11.9 miles walked yesterday, all macros in green.
11/20 133.4 – yeay!!! happy dance, at least for now !! 12.27 miles walked yesterday, I really need to keep my mileage in double figures as many days as possible to make by year total of 3300 miles which I have done the last two years. My daily average so far this year is down – all due to outside influences, weather, my elderly father and his maiden aunt both had several weeks in hospital and due to their dementia need a relative with them almost all their waking hours, oh and did I mention the weather? So much rain this year for days at a time . I should not complain, I really feel for those people that are flooded out in their homes, such a dreadful situation. Still life happens and I'm trying to play catch up. All macros well in green.

My "Christmas Season" starts in end November already and will run till mid-January (between family, office and friends.... ) In one way I want to enjoy myself but then I'll feel discouraged if I put weight on (it'll be hard not to over next month).
I'm hoping to add more exercise to my days to try and compensate... Do you have any other recommendations?
For the office, I stay away from the kitchen. I also convince myself that someone has sneezed all over the baked goods...that helps me stay away from them 😄
My Mom, God bless her, used to say that she imagined slugs had slimingly (is that a word?) crawled all over "goodies" which she could only have very sparingly being an overweight type 1 diabetic !!4 -
@Tonigrubb - welcome, we all try to weigh and post daily, but what ever works for each individual is fine. Hope you enjoy this friendly supportive group.
@171lake - Happy birthday, hope you have a great day x
@huevosverdi - so so pleased, I know you won't regret it, hugs to you xx
@motheroftwins95 - controlled my gallbladder/stones for 10 years with a very very low fat diet, but after that they would not comply!! Eventually surgery was the only option. when they flaired up it was the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life, surgery was a walk in the park in comparison!! My comiserations at your pain, I so don't miss that, hope you soon are painfree xx.

SW- 242
42yrs old 5’4”
Goal 121- half of my former self
Ultimate Goal- Maintain 130-135
Goal for this round is to get my average down by any number. I’m working on building lean muscle while blasting fat, so my scale isn’t moving much right now. But one of these days it’s gonna do a dive.
Averages
R94- 150.6
R95- 150.8
11/19- 151.8
11/20- 149.6 some of this might be dehydration, yesterday was cardio late in the evening. There wasn’t enough time before bed to fully rehydrate (or snack). A lower number is still a lower number😊12 -
Round 96
As 2019 winds down my goal wt for Jan 1st is 262 which would give me a loss for the year of 15 lbs. I think that will put me in a good spot heading in to 2020. I will be 55 in a couple of weeks and it would be awesome to hit my goal wt this year and finally have a handle on this weight thing. A pound a week in 2020 will put me there. Good luck everyone and have a great round.
SW 268.9
RD 96 Goal WT: 267.0
11/19 268.9 Day one and I plan to up the exercise b/c my eating has been pretty good lately.
11/20 267.7 I have really gotten a handle on my eating, now three long days of sitting in meetings. The eating will be fine but my normal exercise will probably be limited.

Goal for R96: less than where I am right now, but more importantly, to begin to re-establish some healthy habits.
