I apologize for all of the Canadian measurement - 1 litre = 1 quart pretty much. 1 cup (8oz) is 250ml.
I didn't grow up with the metric system, but have adjusted since water bottles etc. come with ml on them.
I have my MFP measurement set to ml and litres for tracking.

I have taken to filling a 1 litre bottle and making sure to drink that throughout the day so that I can track easier.

OMG @dawnbgethealthy! That's awful and disruptive! I can't imagine getting up 6 times a night. Everytime I ever tried to increase water intake, it was 3 or 4 times. And that's bad enough.

With the salted lemon water I started a month ago, and the smoothie & afternoon drink, both with chia seeds, I'm getting 5-6 hours without having to get up.

My total intake of actual fluid is around 70 ounces - including my coffee and not counting the smoothie. I don't know how to measure the fluid intake from the fruits and vegetables so I don't even try.

I did this gradually. It did bump up to getting up a coupe of times, but went back to 5-6 hours after a couple of days.

I haven't "traveled" since starting this, but I'll cut back around anticipated access to rest rooms when I do.

I've also experienced the bloating (and literal sloshing around in my stomach) before. I have not with the Quench strategies. I can't explain it. My body is getting used to it? I'm actually absorbing and using water more efficiently worth the plant based hydration?

I'd venture a guess it's the latter. I did experience a small weight bump, then it dropped off. Thebook doesn't really address it, but I'll ask in the book group 😊

    •Monday Updates•📌

12/01 - 184.6 - My personal forbidden carbs (cookies, tortilla chips, chocolate) causing the uptick.

    12/04 - 185.6
12/05- 185.4 - I REALLY need to force a breakthrough on my water consumption. Lately, I can't get past 80-96ozs. Yesterday was only 72ozs. A couple of times a year this happens. I need a gallon a day for about a week to rehydrate.

    Just found this hydration chart:
    Dehydrated/Hydrated?

    Here's another link:
8 glasses of water a day?

I just finished those articles. The second one was interesting, "8 glasses of water?"
I might stop forcing myself to all of that water and get back to having a normal life that doesn't revolve around peeing constantly : - P

    Thank you for the insights!

I did fairly well this weekend. I ate a lot on Friday (1800 cal) then balanced things out on Sat (1360) and Sun (1200).

    December's Hurdles:
Being at home from 12/20 to 12/31 - keeping myself in check with junk food and ice cream. My last day at the seasonal PT job will be the 16th.
Completing a December challenge at our local gym (details coming soon)
Trying really hard to meet my goal and start the new year under 120

    Give me strength, y'all!
