Guys honest opinion : The Belly

I have had two c sections and have struggled with my belly ever since and feeling so insecure about it. I’m trying my best to fix it without surgery but I feel like that’s impossible. But I have always been curious as I’m so insecure about it and always covering it up how much men actually care about a woman’s stomach and it’s appearance.

There are two types of guys, the ones interested in your looks and the ones interested in you. Find the second group and they won't give a rats about your scars or other things.

I think any man that takes issue with what your body has done for your babies isn’t a man worth your attention. I hope your struggle with this insecurity eases over time.

How do I say this, by the time guys reach this age they should understand the scars. If they don't they are either A. not paying attention, B. too self absorbed, or C. not worth your time.

The main issue is you need to take care of yourself (which sounds and looks like you are doing) and quit worrying about what guys think about your looks. Focus on what makes you uniquely yourself and accept that not all guys are going to be interested.

I've dated after divorcing my kids' dad and never had a complaint about my stomach. That was when I had 2 c-sections. Met my current husband and he definitely didn't mind and gave me another baby.

Let's turn it around...do you expect all the men you date to have abs showing when flexed or have no belly fat or scars (men get stretch marks and might have injury scars too)? If not, then what are you worried about?

Work out for you and when you date youll know soon enough if the dude likes all of YOU or not. Could be your litmus test for a future relationship.

Come on people - be honest - we are all about appearance in the first instance. If you just want attraction and the physical side then that is what you will likely get in return and that risks a certain personality, that is their problem not yours.

If you want a friendship that can be more than that in the long term your scars will 100% not matter because someone will be with you for who you are.

I have the feeling the issue is that YOU are not happy with your stomach. If you want to do something about it then only do it for yourself. Other than that I'm with @HamptonsGuy on the advice.

I've also had 2 c-sections, one was a vertical cut. So I'm all scarred up and it's jiggly. It will never be flat. I've NEVER had it stop any guy from wanting to get with me. Do I feel self conscious when I'm intimate and get on top? Hell nah. Confidence is more sexy than anything else.

I think scars are sexy, they have a story and make the person more interesting
If a man can not accept your scars, he does not deserve any part of you
Be proud and confident and own your scars, you earned them
Don’t even worry about them, any real man will not have any problem with your scars 🙂

I think guys get a reputation for only wanting "perfect" women, mostly because that's what TV an movies make you think. In my experience, men in real life are much more accepting and realistic than all that. I am sure you know plenty of couples who are hot for each other even though one or both of them aren't the stereotypical ideal body. You will totally find that too

I have had 3 children, 2 c sections. There's nothing to be insecure about, it's just a scar. I made people. That's pretty cool. I know it's cliche but these "imperfections" are my battle scars. Pregnancy, child birth, surgery, then taking care of a newborn, that's no joke. It's not easy. You should be proud.

I think it just depends on the guy. I've always had an unattractive belly flab area. It bothered my ex husband who was obese himself. My current husband has an incredible body and perfect flat belly...but he isn't at all bothered my belly flab, he focuses more on other parts of my figure that he loves. He'll even kiss my belly and my ex wouldn't really even touch me in that area ever...finding the right guy makes a big difference, that's for sure.
