I am going on a business trip next week and kind of just want to enjoy eating out with the company money. I plan on working out everyday but I just want to enjoy eating what I want. Has anyone else done this. How long did it take your weight to recover

I've done it plenty of times. Sometimes as planned diet breaks, other times just informal breaks. If it's only a few days, it will usually only take a few days to recover back. Maybe a week at most.
I spent about 4 weeks heavily overeating from a combination of business trips, guests, vacation, and just general taking a break from September 21 of this year till October 17th, and I jumped from 194.4 to 203.2. But by October 27th, I was already down 197.8. And I wasn't even that back on track during that time. I've been on and off since then, but even not being 100% focused, I am down to my new low of 193.0 today.
I tell you my story to illustrate that even if you wen't off for a lot longer then you are planning and didn't come back strong, you could still continue on your progress. So just a single business trip is no problem.5 -
I think I could call my 2 x cruise vacations a year a maintenance vacation - I pretty much eat around 500 cals a day above my TDEE so when I get back it takes me around one month to get back to goal my weight range. (I just go back to my normal eating and exercising).0

You didn't gain 10 bs of fat unless you ate 35000 calories over maintenance. Did you? If not, most of that is just water weight that will flush out in a few days to a couple of weeks.2 -
Air travel and stress can cause water retention. You didn't gain 10 pounds of fat.
You'll be fine, give it a week of staying in calories and report back. :flowerforyou:3
