can I get opinions on the keto diet vs. just counting calories and staying under 1200?

True Imfornd age should be working on muscle toning y building not weight loss with a healthy lifestyle with plenty of key nutrients. She’d get the look she’s after remain around the same weight area whether a few pounds less or more likely same or more than 130 due to muscle weight gain. (ignore her family since they sound like negative -70lbs would be the only thing they’d accept like Virginia said) .0

Yeah, based on her comments about her family, I'm thinking the best thing she could do for her mental and physical health would be to shed several hundred pounds.
I'm assuming you're saying shed the family for those not used to MFP conventions and since we're potentially dealing with someone who could be triggered into unsafe weight loss and goals6 -

I assumed that people here are smart enough to know that is what I meant without me spelling it out directly. Especially since the quote directly referenced her toxic family and the fact that it would be literally impossible for someone that weighs only 130 lbs to lose hundreds....6 -
Virginia- I wasn’t was over my head by a long shot lol 😂2

5'4" 130 ---- very healthy or not - it depends on the 130..... my guess is you are like most people at that weight you are somewhere in the middle - you are not a fitness model nor are you nothing but 130 pounds of fat either - the key is to just eat well... workout 60 minutes 5 times a week and if you are doing that no need to listen to anyone but yourself. 130 and active is perfect at that height
The issue is she doesn't want to be 130. She considers herself fat and wants to weigh 100 pounds, which is medically underweight.8
