Welcome back previous 12-Week Challenge friends. Are you ready for round 2? Let's pick up right where we left off.
And to any new members to our challenge, glad to see you. We're a small, but very supportive, group of MFP friends who encourage and inspire each other, whether our weight loss journey be 10 pounds or 100.
Introduce yourself, including as much, or as little, information as you like - no judgements here.
As you can see, I actually created a 15-Week Challenge, to extend through the end of March. A few of you have stated that you wouldn't be able to start until after the New Year, so I took that into consideration. I just thought it would be good to keep the old Challenge name and add a twist.
Weigh-in day will again be on Mondays. Just copy the following schedule and post your weight. Comments and words of wisdom are always welcome.

I'll get it started. I'm not doing any type of plan, just lower calorie intake and trying to walk more. My goal is to be down 40# by the end of the challenge. Additionally, I want to start jogging again. I used to jog years ago and I really enjoyed it. My new passion is hiking. I live near mountains, so I'm taking advantage of them. I'm ready to get this started. Beginning Monday!!

What is the challenge? Does it include anything specific, like certain exercises or something?0
-
A personal challenge. We had a very supportive group last time and want to keep ourselves and each other motivated so we set a goal and the "challenge" is to meet the goal we set.2
-
I didn't participate in Round One. This is my first MFP challenge!
I haven't got a particular goal in mind... Maybe 1 lb per week?

Hi, I would love to join your challenge, but I won't be able to officially start until December 30th. I am traveling and filled with Holiday excuses, but I'm ready to be serious when I get home and I've actually never tried an accountability/encouragement group on here.
My plan for achieving my goal involves better meal prep and getting back into a routine with my gyms, one just closed and changing my routine is frustrating.

Joining the challenge. I lost a significant amount of weight a few years ago, but my weight has slowly increased over the past two years. I still exercise/lift weights regularly, but have to get back to logging calories daily. That makes a big difference.
