@Faebert - are your schools opening for essential worker children only? Our schools are closed until September. They closed them about 3 weeks ago and didn’t even try doing the 2 week thing just closed indefinitely.

Yes @snowflake1968 we are staying open for key worker and vulnerable children only through this whole thing, so even through what would normally be school holidays. With numbers so low, it’s hoped that we can maintain distancing a little and try and keep everyone safe. But thankfully children seem to deal pretty well with this virus so it’s about staff being sensible too.

    JFT, 3/28/20

    - Spend time with Matt
    - Read one chapter :smiley:Actually read 4 before bed. Lol. I wasn't sure about this book but last night's chapters sucked me in!
    - Write one chapter :disappointed:Just couldn't get into it.

So every April, July, and November there are NaNoWrMos which stand for National Novel Writing Months. April starts it off for the new year and my friend does them pretty religiously every year. She convinced me to join her this month because they have an option for an editing word count instead of a writing word count. The problem is as of last night I still have 5 chapters left to write before I could type those two magic words (The End). So I would need to pound out those 5 chapters before 4/1. Well, this morning I wrote one almost as soon as I woke up. After I post my goals for the day I am going to write another one. So I'll have three days to write three more. Then I'll be all set! So let's see if I can do this!

That's literally the only thing that's been happening in my life that's of any importance. Matt started talking to a former friend of his, who he got mad at a few months ago, again. They've been playing video games a lot the last few days. But the times that they aren't playing we have been listening to a podcast that we really like, trying to get caught up to the current episode. I think we still have about 100 episodes to go. I'm hoping that we can reach it by the time the quarantine is over.

Okay, anyway, here are my goals for the day.

    JFT, 3/29/20

    - Cook taco stuff for dinner
    - Write at least 1 more chapter
    - Read at least 1 chapter
    - Unload the dishwasher

It is pretty late in the day to post these but they're simple so I can probably get them all finished before bed tonight.

Almost a clean sweep of my goals, yay! Quiet, productive day again. Went out for a drive in the mountains. Figured we couldn’t infect or get infected if we stuck to our car (and drive carefully to avoid accidents). Was nice to see tall green trees. A colleague reminded me that my plants haven’t had water for a long time now (at least 10 days, honestly I can’t remember...might be 2 full weeks). I may need to go grab them and bring them home tomorrow night. No time during the day—10 hours of video calls scheduled. They keep talking about “work slowing down” and “people not having enough to do”—I don’t see that happening for at least 6 weeks! Sure hope we can consider getting back in the office in 6 weeks. Doubt it will be sooner...

🙏Thank you to all who are on the front lines of this. The rest of us will do our part to support you, to get you the supplies you need, and to stay away from each other!🙏

    Daily habits: track, exercise, journal
    Monday Action Plan
    1. Wake at 0615, pill, pill
    2. Put Apple in fridge and water bottle at desk
    3. On computer, video ready at 0650
    4. Bike for 30+ minutes
    5. squats + dumbbell row, +abs, yoga
    6. Healthy breakfast at desk: yogurt + GoLean
    7. Lunch= Chicken, cauliflower, apple
    8. Bike session 1:30
    9. Walk outside 30 minutes
    10. Dinner = salad + family food
    11. Get my plants from office?!?
    12. Plan bike sessions for next day
    13. Shower
    14. Upstairs by 9, journal, lights out 9:30
