@pridesabtch - I am so sorry youโ€™re struggling right now. (Iโ€™m also sorry that my โ€œbraggyโ€ post came up right after yours. I mustโ€™ve been typing mine up when yours posted).

Youโ€™ve been at this a while, so I know this isnโ€™t new information for you, but just make small changes. Tiny goals. Once you feel the accomplishments again youโ€™ll get back to where you were. The best thing you can do is just keep going.

I remember seeing your posts at the beginning of the year when I joined this thread. You were comparing notes about riding with @teigansdad and I was super impressed! If youโ€™ve been at this since 2002, then you know that this is just a small moment in time...a blip on the radar!

Donโ€™t forget, your goals donโ€™t have to be calorie or weight loss related. What if you started just with logging (donโ€™t worry about staying green). Or make a goal to read the success stories pages. Or the NSVโ€™s. Those always give me motivation.

Give yourself some grace. In our lifetime, there has never been a pandemic that has us all scared and looking for comfort wherever we can. You are not alone. ๐Ÿ’•

@TerriRichardson112 Tx. I hadn't considered nuts; I'll put them on my next grocery order. In addition to those items you mentioned, I also do Tortilla chips and salsa. 12 chips + salsa is about 100 cal. Sodium is a bit high so only do it on days I'm not heavy on Sodium.
Most of the 'unhealthy' snacks I eat are around 100 calories. Eg 2 finger kitkat = 105; 3 chocolate digestive thins = 99. I'm just trying to reduce my sugar intake.

@cesse47 - thanks I just love this group, I started following it in April 2018 and posted daily until about a week before my daughters wedding last summer. This group has been with me through a 20lb loss and now a 20lb gain, through a job loss and search and so much more. I know itโ€™s a big help and it works for me. I just need to get back on track. My Mom is in a nursing home in New Brunswick, I am in Alberta. Itโ€™s been a relief that NB had so few cases and have managed this pandemic so well.
The residents at the home I work in are doing quite well. They donโ€™t seem as stressed and upset as they do when their families visit regularly. Itโ€™s surprising actually.

@pridesabtch - I am right there with you. We can do this we just have to get the fire under us. I donโ€™t know when that will be lit.

@PackerFanInGB, @Bex953172 and @mytime6630 I hope you are all doing well.

I am here, been reading but doing so poorly I havenโ€™t hadnโ€™t much to say.

I am so disappointed in myself but Iโ€™m also not able to correct the bad habits that will help my weight gain.

I am finding this whole thing just difficult. Working in a seniors home, not seeing my girls and grandchildren. Rodger is not going to be working this summer. Just a lot going on and Iโ€™m not doing as well with it as I want to be.

So Iโ€™m here, Iโ€™m reading and just donโ€™t have much to contribute right now. I miss you all though.

Tracey, Please don't feel you have nothing to contribute when you are doing such an essential job. It small consolation, I know, but I really admire and appreciate all you key workers who are putting yourselves out there. It's little wonder you feel so stressed, and under pressure. Please lean on us, and unload if you need to. We have broad shoulders.

    Dear friends,

We are all living through a worldwide pandemic the like of which we have never experienced. However, the indominatable human spirit has the capacity to rise to meet this challenge. Celebrate every little positive achievement in your daily life. Forgive yourself for any perceived shortcomings at this time, move past them and resolve to take the opportunity each new day brings to rise above them and start over.

We can do this! We will do this! We ARE doing this!!!

@TerriRichardson112 - thanks for your support.

One thing I have decided on is this. As I was losing weight and fit into smaller clothes I got rid of my clothes. I purposely did that so that I had nothing to go back to. My clothes are all pretty tight now and it is a constant reminder to me that I need to do something. I canโ€™t afford new clothes and even if I could I refuse to buy them. I know that it will take me a bit to get back to a comfortable fit but thatโ€™s just the price Iโ€™m going to have to pay. So Iโ€™m going to attempt to walk at least 5km before Saturday and take a lunch the rest of the week.

@ZizzyBumble - Happy birthday! I hope you enjoyed your day yesterday! ๐Ÿ’

@pridesabtch - Awesome! Way to take action! Never apologize for a morose post. You only said how you were feeling and Iโ€™m sure many could relate to it. And itโ€™s awesome to see how much support immediately came in from this group. ๐Ÿ’•

    JFT WEDNESDAY:
    - log everything/ stay green by 100
    - Exercise (cardio & weights)
    - Homeschool

    Order bike partsโœ…
    Stay greenโœ…
Finish painting ..god I HATE painting. I think if I were given a choice between this and repeating colonoscopy prep Iโ€™d choose the prep.โœ…
    Vacuum carโœ…
First mountain bike race tonight.. hoping the 30 lbs Iโ€™ve dropped should help me get to the top step on podiumโœ…๐Ÿฅ‡I won!
Yesterday was excellent. Won my first race in a long time. It was awesome. After the 30 lb weight loss Iโ€™ve been itching to see what I could do. Up until now Iโ€™ve been doing most of my time on the trainer. It showed on the technical sections of the trail but man my power and endurance were off the charts. I felt like I was taking a new sports car for a spin. I owe that to MFP And this forum writing goals every day has kept me focused and honest with myself.

Goals for today ... back to work after several very productive days at home

Pick up paint for daughter on way home. Also pick up cover for fire pit
    Stay green
    No beer
Smart snacking choices, m&ms ok if stay green
    1 hr tempo ride
Look at race bike. Change rear derailleur hanger. Think I bent it when a stick got lodged in it during race
