    Goal every round is to get my average down by any number. I’ve been stuck in the low 150’s for months as I’ve worked on adding muscle. My body looks very different, now I need the scale to look different!

    01/10 126.6 Hmmm, better. I haven't been super disciplined with sugar lately (ridiculously, my snack and dessert has been Lucky Charms!), but I'm still logging my food, so calories are in check. On cold mornings, does anyone else find it tougher to strip out of warm pajamas and get on the scale? That's my pathetic excuse for not weighing in sometimes- I'm cold!
    01/11 129.9 Yesterday, I had 1246 calories, 52 grams of protein, and 43 grams of fat. I did not gain 3.3 lbs overnight. So glad blips in the scale don't freak me out like they used to, thanks to this group! Imagine, you weigh in one day a week and you're up 3+ lbs, you might think you've failed your weight loss goals for that week, when the day before/after would tell a different story. Weighing in every day is so much better!

    01/13 127.4 I missed a day, RIGHT after I was talking about how important it is to wait and every day (I was freezing again and couldn't stand the thought of stripping down in my cold bathroom!). All right, I'll amend My previous statement:. Weigh often! Don't miss too many days if you can help it. I'm only working on the last 3 to 5 pounds and have pretty much been in maintenance for a month or so, just slightly heavier than I would prefer as a result of this daily strategy which I found through this group.
    01/14 128.4 If I was sliiiightly more disciplined right now, I'd be able to knock out these final few pounds, but...
    01/15 126.6 I think what is going on here is that I am basically around 127 lbs, and I am just experiencing the natural fluctuations in weight that accompany drinking more or less water, having more or less salt, or eating more or less food on a given day. So the story here is actually one of maintenance. Which, again, is fine, but if I was a little more disciplined I would be settling in at a few pounds lighter and at a more comfortable long-term maintenance weight. I will get there!
    01/16 125.6 Dropped the kids off at school, got my coffee all set, and realized I hadn't weighed in, so I went upstairs and did it. Not being lazy paid off! I'm a fan of this weight, will I get to keep it? End of the round is tomorrow- that extra motivation doesn't hurt! Let's all finish strong!
    01/17 126.2 Feeling good about this. This was a weird round, but I learned some things, and I'm ready to apply them to Round 102!

    I've weighed in at what's typically my heaviest time of day. While the number distresses me, this change will provide a built in cushion of a few pounds when I'm back at my normal weight.

    No weight loss goal for the round. My focus is to avoid eating out and having processed foods at home. When I stick with this and get my exercise in the scale will eventually cooperate. As usual it will happen painfully slow but fat loss will happen.

    I ate until it hurt yesterday but my calories and macros landed where they should. Unprepared and living without a plan never works for me. Today I'll be ready.

    I did well yesterday with the exception of a very late dinner. This is no big deal since I'm following a 16/8 Intermittent fasting program for three days filled by one non fasting day. Dinner crossed into my non fasting day leaving my program in tact.

    An early weigh in has me a bit lighter than reality but I'm more focused on size than pounds. Weight is an objective measure for posting but a perfectly fitting wardrobe is my goal.

    I'm expecting a hellish start to my week so beforehand I want to get my weigh in done. Lately I've let everything get in the way of my personal needs but not this time. Today's 0.6 gain is as artificial as yesterday's 2.0 loss because of the varying times of day. (However, I still feel hurt whenever the scale goes up.)I'm outside of my time restricted eating zone this morning but I'll make it up on the other end. So far it's been a good week. My appetite is under control and my macros are on point.

    Yesterday I screwed up in such a way that to provide an accurate description in the words I would normally use would be far too rude for this forum. While both fast and keto are done for, calorie average is ok. Today has been better but it's early yet. My danger zone will not begin for hours. Lately I've not felt much inner strength but I'm going to fake it. Doing right when I would rather do wrong will plague me this evening. Nonetheless I must work at it. The struggle continues and I know I'll succeed.

    The past day although better than the day before was poor. I caved easily without good reason because I've conveniently "forgotten" that I am on a diet for life. This is not a lifestyle choice it is a necessity. I'm determined to regaining my vigilance for doing what works. A major attitude adjustment is in progress.

    Calories fine. Macros shameful. My head is still not in the game but I'm working on my obstacles. I've been my own worst enemy after having felt so positive about getting my diet for life back on track. I'm working on the things that are derailing my progress. I'll soon be back to fasting and full on keto. I need this too badly to screw up. Long term health and success means everything to me.

    Yesterday was a take out feast. Dinner was an evening off not deserved given the last few days. As expected I'm ending on an unfortunate high note. However, I've weighed myself after a large meal including liquids. I'm also dressed in heavy clothing ready to face the weather. When I reach my low woeight again, and I will no doubt succeed, I want to maintain at my heaviest time of day.

    Today at noon I begin fasting. I'm traveling so my weight will not be accurate but I'll find a scale where I can.
