Started a very low calorie diet on Jan 17. I have ended each of the last 5 years heavier than I have ever been before. Have a very complicated, very unhappy relationship with food. Am hoping taking the thinking and choice out of it - by focusing on low-calorie ready meals - can help me get where I am trying to go.

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !
This round goal to just lose - aim to stick with good habits: be mindful of what I eat & drink, keep walking & refrain from attacking the cookie jar and left over Christmas chocolates – plan is to put them in DH lunch box each day 'til they're gone!! - there are still residual bits hanging around hubby will have finished them by end of this week!End of round 69 134.2 lbs

01/28 136 – 3.84 miles walked only yesterday – still off plan following loss of my Dad 3 days ago. Got my head together this morning & back in the game, hope to be able to get 9 mile walk in today in between phone calls, making arrangements etc. regarding Dads passing.
01/29 134.4 - 8.93 miles walked yesterday, good to be back on track, all macros and calories well in green. NSV – didn't turn to food when I was frustrated with red tape & bureaucracy regarding delay in issue of Dad's death cert to finalize funeral, in fact I didn't even realize that until this morning!!
01/30 134.4 – 11.52 miles walked yesterday, all calories & macros well in green. Finally caught up with all the posts, took me the last 2 days to catch up from the start of the round. Once again, thank you all for all your kind wishes and prayers, can't tell you enough how much this lifts me. This group is the best!

My main goal this round is to get my daily steps in, also we've started using the stairs at the office (we're on the 6th floor of a shared office building), it's turning into a bit of a challenge between us I've started doing it at home as well as we live on the 4th floor, but we can't always do that as we often have shopping to bring up.

01/28 - 151.6 (+0.6) 1225 cal, 11.257 steps, no idea where that gain came from, maybe TOM? I woke up feeling bloated. Anyway I'll just keep on doing my thing I'm not having much time to do anything but run around getting stuff done. Tonight we're visiting 2 high schools for my daughter as we have to decide for enrollment next week, I think I'll just grab an energy bar somewhere so I don't end up starving and eating the wrong thing at one of the open days treats
01/29 - 150.2 (-1.4) 1174 cal, 8192 steps, that's a bit of a whoosh and a new low although I have no idea why though! Yesterday I hit my calorie goal around 4 pm as I didn't want to eat junk food while running around in the evening, so I'm guessing it's the longer "fast" period that I'm used to (I normally don't eat between 6.30 pm and 9.30 am). Maybe just skipping dinner works for me but I like having my dinner with my daughter in the evening, I'll have to see. Today nothing special planned except that there's more running around tonight so I might skip dinner again.
01/30 - 150.2 (0.0) 1378 cal, 5351 steps, I'm quite surprised that it's the same number as I was over calorie yesterday and not hardly enough steps were done! I'll have to make sure I'm careful today so that it doesn't creep back up on me tomorrow as I've noticed that sometimes it takes 48hrs to show the gains from excess. Today is going to be quiet, I've had a splitting headache since Tuesday which is slowing evolving into a migraine, so I'm going to concentrate on making it through the day till I can get home and crash...

01/28 - 145.5 - I'm a little surprised I'm still up a half pound from last week, but maybe it's from starting the planking. I can definitely feel the muscles burning even though I'm only holding for 20 seconds.

01/30 - 149.7 - Back on the downward trend. Got my logistics (flights, hotel, etc) coordinated yesterday for my interview Monday. Apparently the hiring manager is excited about this which makes me nervous and excited (more so than I already was). Lunch ready for today and tomorrow. Have a steak for dinner and a Fire Brigade dinner/awards tomorrow to get me through to Saturday food-wise. Pushing water. I tried to yesterday but it was rough trying to drive home with a full bladder every 2-3 seconds it felt like! Today I'm at my home office so it'll be easier (: Caught up with HOME yoga, today is the last day, tomorrow is close-out. I already have February's calendar printed and I'm going to try to stick with that (pending any life updates). Now time to read and get caught up on everybody over the last 2 days! Previous Day's Comments01/28 - Holding steady. TOM finally arrived and so this uptick from my low last round must have a little influence from that. Traveling for work today so a 2 hour commute each way ): At least I get paid mileage reimbursement at a good rate for it. Get to talk to my boss today for a question he had about my pay 2 weeks ago. He didn't approve my pay and the pay window closed yesterday so we get the payout Friday. If I don't get paid Friday, I'm in a very very very bad situation. I'm a little peeved at my boss that I even need to be worried about getting paid Friday. This happened 2 weeks ago today! Why are you bringing it up so late and risking my pay?! Please help me not stress eat... I've been tossing and turning all night, barely got restful sleep. And during those times I tossed and turned, I was absolutely freezing, despite usually being too hot under all those layers.
01/29 - Found my TOM bloat plus some. At a work conference and food is provided. I started getting dizzy and lightheaded so I went to get some food and the only thing available was a donut so I ate that. Then catered Chick-Fil-A (delicious, but not exactly nutritious). Not sure what today's catered lunch will be. Hopefully they have a fruit tray for breakfast again (the fruit was gone by the time I got dizzy) and I'm going to get some early so I can snack once I break my fast (lunch is an hour later than I normally eat it and I break my fast between 1030-11, 11 being the plant's normal lunch break). At least fruit will hold me over an hour. Just have 2 yoga (YWA HOME) practices to do today and I'm all caught up! I really do love it. Calendar should be out today for February. Pretty excited!

NSV At least in these jeans I'm down to my last belt loop! Will have to try in my regular jeans (which are tighter on me so it makes no sense to me, I shouldn't be able to go down with extra fabric at my waist but I do!)

Thank you both! Definitely been praying (and know I am fortunate to have others praying for me) and using yoga for meditation and calming. It is a new system for him and I didn't realize it until Tuesday just how different it is. I can understand his confusion. Doesn't quite explain his delay, but I suppose he knew he'd see me in person this week. I'm trying my best to practice forgiveness and he is a good boss. I do love my job and enjoy that I have such a lenient boss so it will be a bit hard to see his face when I give him my notice but I know I need to take care of myself first.
I had a paystub in my account yesterday and the paycheck hit my bank today so I'm good. Just a little frustration on top of all the stress of job hunt and financials of this month (it was a tight month anyway given how our pay schedule changed. I got my last paycheck of the old schedule Dec 31st and then only paid for 8 days of work on the 17th so a much smaller check than normal.) Now I'm back to a slightly smaller check, but still can cover bills without concern (to be expected - going from a 1st/15th pay cycle to an every other Friday cycle). And I now know the amount of my paychecks going forward so I can budget appropriately and I don't run into that again!11 -

01/28 137 today I will track my calories and go back to the simple dishes. Too much sugar over the past week. I must get this done. I don't need so much food. My body is not so tall and it doesn't feel good. I feel heavy and bloated.
01/29 135. Stayed on track. Day 2 of staying on track. I can do it. All I have to do is plan my meals 😊 and fill up in veggies.
01/30 134 day 3 of staying on track. With very little sugar too. Logged everything. I was a bit sad so maybe that's why I didn't feel like eating 😔 I shouldn't be sad. Yes, things could be better but they also could be very worse. I'm going to be positive today and remember the good.

01/29: 202.0 Sadly it turns out my scale was off by 4 lbs. Still have more work to do! On the bright side, my doctor was thrilled by the STILL SIGNIFICANT weight loss and the changes in my diet, so she was very encouraging about continuing my efforts. I have a new scale now to mark my progress!

1/29/20 - 171.7 Well, I was under my calorie goal yesterday however my dinner did consist of mostly "healthier" options from McDonald's. I'll be going to the gym tonight.
1/30/20 -171.7 I reallyyyyy didn't want to go to the gym last night but I did. Disappointed to not even see a tiny decrease. Oh well. Today is another day.

01/28 - 377.8 - The drop continues. IF is definitely working for me. If the rate doesn't naturally slow down, I may have to jump off it occasionally to keep the rate down.
01/29 - 377.6 - A nice, little drop. Bad night of sleep, so I'll take it. Now down 25 lbs. since I started this journey on Nov. 17th.
01/30 - 377.6 - As long as it doesn't rise, I'm ok with that. Might be stress from the job interview.

I am unsure of this new low weight hanging around and don't want to be disappointed when it starts bobbing so goal this round is set for expected bouncing.

01/28: 147.4 - Lol – there you go! Almost 2 lbs loss overnight. It’s a mystery so I shall focus on food, logging, water and exercise. Did my strength circuit today – I will be sore tomorrow.💪
01/29: 146.8 (– 0.4) My strength circuit definitely got my heart rate up yesterday. Hopefully I can do it again on Thursday. Todays is a run day and I am sore! I ate pretty well yesterday and trying to get more fiber, protein and water. Spouse is gone for a few days so I am looking forward to eating veggies and salads. 🥗
01/30: 147.0 (+.2WTF) My scale seems stupid. Hahah. I get on and it says 146.2. I get off. Wait. Reweigh. 147.0. It’s pretty new – a year old. I have recalibrated and use a 8 lb dumbbell to check which weighs 7.8-8 lbs depending on the day. Whatever…she says indignantly! Good run, good food tracking, slept great. What else can I ask for. Off to the gym for my strength workout. 😒

01/28: 282.2 (+1.0) … great start to the round! Oh well, upticks happen… all the time. I’m determined to hit 279 this round.
01/29: 280.5 (-1.7) … right back down close to my previous low. I’m a little surprised as I ate a bit more than usual yesterday. Pushing my activity level a bit more this week -- messed around with Ring Fit Adventure on Switch this morning and am thinking about going on an hour walk at lunch if it’s not too cold out. I’m near the end of my audiobook and that’d be some good listening time.
01/30: 281.0 (+0.5) … another small uptick, but I’m trending in the right direction. Got 12,000 steps in yesterday which the first time I’ve been over 10k in quite a while. I’ve been slacking. Hoping to take another walk at lunch today if it’s not too cold out -- it’s chillier this morning than it was yesterday.

01/28 261.6 I was hopeful of a drop, but not surprised I didn’t have one, I have a lot of inflammation again this morning. In addition, my back and leg have been hurting me and I just can’t get them to let up. On the plus side of things though I’ve been staying on track the last few days so I don’t have that adding to things.
01/29 261.4 My back finally let up yesterday after I spent some time on my exercise bike. I have no idea why that helped when walking, pain killers, message, and muscle rub didn't, but I'll have to keep it in mind for next time.
