Challenging couple of weeks ahead

This weekend will be even more challenging at the fishing camp. My sister is bringing cosmos, my son & his wife are bringing drinks, my aunt & uncle are always heavily supplied from bloody marys in the morning to stiffer drinks in the afternoon & evening, and then the perpetual big 5pm cocktail hour looking out over the water.
Feb 14 - AF @ fishing camp. When we arrived late that evening everyone had a drink in hand. I stuck with water and lo and behold I was the only one that spilled my drink!
Feb 15 - 1 bloody mary, 1 cosmos, 2 wine, 2 prosecco @ fishing camp Celebrating my Mom’s 84 birthday with her 2 sisters (1 visiting from Florida) that also have February birthdays. Dinner party for 14.
Feb 16 - 3 wine @ fishing camp
3 AF days this week but not sure it makes up for all the drinks!

Feb 19 - 2 glasses wine Book Club
Feb 20 - 3 glasses wine Alumnae Meeting at my home. 7 bottles of wine were passed to me via the Wine Kitty OH NO

Though I met my goal of 3 days per week AF, I need to still focus on not going over 1-2 drinks in an evening. It was a tough month … DH has started buying not 1 but 2 bottles of wine again.2 -
Ended Feb with 14 AF days, if it hadn’t been for that darn leap day I would have been right at 50%! Good month for me alcohol wise but a lot was because we battled so much sickness in late Jan that is still lingering so there hasn’t been a lot of socializing. I also had my work trip cancelled, and all are on hold for foreseeable future due to COVID concerns so my 10 day March trip to Europe is also not going to happen. Kind of a bummer as I was due to go places I’ve never been but better safe than sorry and I’m sure it will be better for my food and drink intake!

Work has been hectic so haven’t logged the last few days. Happy to say I managed 21 AF days out of 29! Off to find the March Mindness thread!0

Goal: Ease into only drinking on Friday & Saturday! Consistently be AF 5 days a week.
