RIP Dimebag Darrell.
When I was in my best shape of my life 15 years ago Pantera gets a bulk of the credit for the mental fuel. Though most of the Metal I listen to is pre 90's Metal.
Pantera and slayer are my music playlist. I listen to them every time I workout.0 -

Melodic Metal Fanatic here!
In This Moment
Five Finger Death Punch
Straight Line Stitch
Chevelle
Nonpoint
Sevendust
OTEP
All That Remains
Stone Sour
All of these. I saw Sevendust a couple of months ago with Coal Chamber. CC still hated each other (despite the reunion tour) and it really showed on stage. Sevendust, however, was awesome. They were loving being up there, loving the crowd, and it made a huge difference in the energy.0 -
3 Inches of Blood! and I love me some GWAR... fyeah! Although I generally lean toward punk. I'm on a Pennywise kick right now, they are pretty abrasive and fast paced but still melodic and it keeps me moving.0

Not all metal... but lately listening to to Danzig, Bad Brains, Lamb of God, Suicidal Tendencies, Lunachicks, White Zombie and Motorhead.0
