The farmer eggs. I haven't eaten store bought eggs in months, and now the uniformity scares me a little.0

99 cents because then i'd live in a magical land and who knows what else would be there!
Seriously though, i've never seen eggs cheaper than 2$ a dozen here.
They are usually around 3$ regular price, free range from the store is about 6$ a dozen, or straight from the farm is around 4$ a dozen.0 -
This is literally the cost of eggs here. One farmer I know sells them for $3. But seeing as how you pick up the eggs with your own container, I still find it kinda expensive when they are a buck in the store.
Geez, I'm way overcharged for eggs here [Australia]. At the supermarket, I think they vary from $4-$8 per dozen. I always pick free range and try to get organic. I think that non-supermarket eggs taste better so I would go the farm ones. I've never seen a partially formed chicken in my eggs before, but now I know what i'm missing... :ohwell:0
