You can't convince a believer of anything; for their belief is not based on evidence, it's based on a deep seated need to believe

I have read a lot about ghee and there are 2 areas where it has an advantage: 1) because it is cow's milk fat with all of the milk solids removed people who are lactose intolerant can eat it where they cannot eat regular butter and 2) again, because the milk solids are removed it has a very long shelf life and does not have to be refrigerated.

As for health benefits beyond for those who are lactose intolerant, there are none. Yes, It has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years but when put to the test by scientists all of the claims were proven false.

It also has a much higher smoke point with the milk solids removed. It is often used to high heat saute in restaurant kitchens for that reason. And it has a lovely buttery flavor without the burnt flavor of milk solids.

    Forgot that one. Thanks!

It's hilarious to find active body and lazy minds.

American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2007 "conjugated linoleic acids in ghee might help reduce body fat to some degree."

Now lazier ones will ask for links.

Not sure why you are trying to rev this up again after nearly 4 months. :*

I doubt if anyone will ask for links now - was clear last time that there aren't any and I doubt anyone is at all interested any more

Ghee will increase fat oxidation. Why? Because its fat. Does it mean it comes from your fat cells? Nope.

Btw, ghee is great to make fried eggs.
