No More Late Night Snacking in 2020 -- May 2020 Challenge

... unless you've planned it (what I am trying to say is that I'm not willing to start a debate)
If you haven't seen this challenge before, let me brief you about it:
We started this thinking: "Looks like I'm self-sabotaging by munching/bingeing after dinner" or "Mhmm... I'm kinda doubling my in-calories at night".
What you have to do to change the way you feel about your eating at night:
- decide what late night snacking means to you (could be either bingeing, if you're inclined to it or simply eating anything at all after a certain time; some may find that having a healthy snack after dinner is perfectly alright and be upset only when they go overboard)
- report in the thread. We post by the formula:
Me: X vs. LNS: Y,
where X is "how many evenings you stuck to it" and Y "the times late night snacks won". You may want to also add a * to the latest number. Feel free to also post streaks of how many days (in a row) you've managed to be free of late night snacking
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated , as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile!
Have I touched a cord? Then: You are welcome!

I hope it's okay that I started the May challenge. I have a couple other monthly challenges I create, and I was on a roll this evening with getting next month's challenges going.

Yes - as long as it happens, who cares who does it? We're in this together!1 -
My May LNS rule - No consuming of calories between 8 PM & 6 AM, so water is fine.
April's results: 60%
Success rate: 60% (18/30). End streak: 51 -
Me: 1 (except planned midnight healthy snack)

I have sleep medication that has a side effect of food cravings. So I don't think I can realistically give up late-night snacks entirely. But I think I'll try to keep to only one, under 200-calorie snack per night.
I'll add a bonus part called "NS" for "no snacks" for the days where I didn't eat any late-night snacks at all. (On these days, I'll still put a point for the "me" section as well)

That didn't go as I hoped. Thursday night I didn't get a chance to have dinner until after 8 PM and last night my SO brought me an alcoholic drink after 9 PM. So I couldn't really refuse that, could I? On the upside I did my longest run outside ever yesterday (5.32 km in 37:42) so that was a definite plus! All the incline work on the treadmill paid off!

My rule: I can only have one late-night snack under 200 calories.
If I have no snack at all, I will put a point in NS for "no snack" (as well as a point for "me").

Yesterday was a lot of travelling around so the food was crappy all day. Today I'm (mostly) at home so the diet should be a lot better. Now if it wasn't freezing outside a run would be nice!
