Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – I'm working at it – it's a permanent way of life !

05/26 136 – a tad better. 9.36 miles walked yesterday & a very good food day, certainly back on track . 722 calories in credit and all macros well in green. Overall I am disappointed with myself this round, a gain of 3.2 pounds from end of last. Oh well, I am back in the zone and aim to stay in it for the whole of the next round. I'm so hoping that during the next 10 days we will be able to met up with our families again; desperate to see children & grandchildren!!

05/27 231.8, ready for another round! Woke up to low blood sugar this morning, actually had to dump sugar in. (Insulin dosing is not an exact science, especially when one is losing weight. Last night's bedtime dose was apparently just a tad too much.) So with 6 AM "snacking" I am already going to have to budget calories for the rest of the day. Steps yesterday: 18,747; steps to date: 139,941, a little ahead of pace. Blister well bandaged but tender, most of my steps were in socks/no shoes at the office! With the hallways empty due to everyone teleworking, I got up and walked through every phone call. Today makes one month of 10 Days. Thanks, everyone for the help!

05/27 121.2 We went for a nice 4 mile walk in the woods this morning and I did a few minutes of planks before the walk while I was waiting for my husband and father in law to be ready. I’m thinking about doing some jump rope later too. Food was good yesterday count wise. I’m happy I didn’t go up due to water weight because we had a kind of salty dinner with oyster mushrooms, onions, beef, and broccoli in a Chinese style sauce. So, I was pleasantly surprised about that. 😊 It’s going to be another 80’s day today and I’m so happy about it! It’s only our second one of the season and I love the warm weather so much! The warmer weather also makes me want to eat lighter too, so it’s a win all around.
I’m thinking about making pesto chicken and pasta for dinner tonight. I love basil, so I’m really looking forward to it!

I love intermittent fasting and have been consistently for the past two months (on and off over the past few years)! I typically have my first meal around 11am and finish before 7pm. I enjoy it because I have two larger meals and a snack. I feel much more satisfied than if I had three smaller meals.

@eyesopennow I love that you have a step goal of 1 million, Mike. Never thought to go beyond a daily step goal that I almost never make. A longer term goal might be more forgiving--low one day; higher the next. Sorry about the blisters. I love to walk but usually only make a mile with my dog because that is as far as she will go and she doesn't want me to go without her. Fooled her yesterday and walked over lunch so she wouldn't know. My hubs is pre-diabetic and was doing great in staying in shape and keeping it under control--until the gyms closed. He still stays active around the house and yard, but misses the dedicated workout time. Glad you are keeping on top of your diabetes. You are too funny of a guy to have anything bad happen--here's to a new day! Sheila5

@mlagioia @littlecinnamon @kblanc14 So excited there are fellow IFs in this group! Although I've only been on 16:8 for around a month--I love it! Actually not as hungry overall anymore and have plenty of energy. Eat 11 a.m. - 7 pm., but typically break the fast closer to noon and finished by 6:30 for the day. Still eat my goal calories and remain in a calorie deficit. Just starting to up the activity again since the weather is nice. Need that natural vitamin D --walking on sunshine! Sheila7

5/27 119.0 We had a wonderful meal cooked on the grill. Hamburgers (no buns) grilled spaghetti squash, sliced tomato, and Keto Blackberry Cobbler from Keto Connect. Fairly high carb day but all “healthy carbs.” It’s was all good.5 -

@SheilaBoneham for keto you want 5%carb/20%protein/75%fat. With protein the MAIN GOAL, carbs a
LIMIT, and fat to provide longer lasting satisfaction. I have eased up to a more lazy or dirty keto. Senza has a macro calculator which will adjust your macros as you lose unless you enter a custom value as I have for protein. I know I have a low carb limit - I was diagnosed with insulin resistance back in the late 80’s or early 90’s. I was put on a diet which was almost no carb, lived to tell the tale and lost a bunch of weight until I switched back to eating the crap that made me fat to begin with. 🤦♀️🤷♀️Now I check my blood for ketones and glucose every morning. I buy those supplies from Best Ketone Test - excellent customer service!

05/27 - 152.3 - 20 rounds in for me now in this challenge, I have lost 5 pounds over the 200 days. Lots of time and hard work for small results, but always happy to be trending down. I know that I could very easily put that 200 days of loss back on in one weekend. It would suck to have to spend another 200 days to get rid of one weekend of eating yummy stuff.
