    Just realised while starting this new month that I lost count somewhere along the way, I passed my 1 year anniversary back in April.

    Successes: I have lost another kg, right down to my goal weight of 49 kg. I have increased my activity and exercise levels to bring my fitness up to a very good level.

    Struggles: Mental struggles with the restrictions. The restrictions are being eased but I am not sure whether I want to go out much. Still can’t visit my children and grandchildren as they live too far away for a quick visit.

    Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week:
    I started to gain with the "Stay at Home" way of life and got that under control. That was big for me. I actually had to move into a "lose" mode for a few weeks but I did it. This gives me so much confidence. Saturdays have been a problem for me. I want to eat because I less to do to keep my mind off of food. It's has been raining the last few Saturdays which doesn't help.

    Hi! My name is Kristen. And I struggle to maintain my weight. I have had great success losing/gaining, but I'm hoping this group helps me be more accountable. I weigh only 1x week on Sundays, so that's when I'll check in. My 2 goals in 2020 are to not let the scale go above 153 and weigh in EVERY Sunday for the WHOLE YEAR. This seems easy to most, but I get lazy and make excuses why I don't need to weigh in and then all of a sudden everything in my closet has shrunk. LOL

    Success of the week: My scale weight continues to moderate back to where it should be. This week's average is still a half pound above my ideal six-pound maintenance range but remains within my ten-pound absolute maintenance range. Somehow, and I'm not really sure how, I never busted through that ceiling when looking at trends. I had a few individual days the last month or so outside of that range, but never an average or a trend. I laugh because the Trendweight app says I will hit my target in October, but I know better.


    Struggle of the week: I seem to have been experiencing more stress about the pandemic this week even as we move away from our stay-home restrictions.

    Successes/challenges
    Success is I've continued eating as planned and maintained weight. Challenge - last week was first week of successfully getting my daughter back to school - driving her in the mornings - have to get used to this routine again, but last week my exercise all went out the window. This week I have work on reestablishing a daily exercise routine, and make myself go to bed earlier, and get up earlier.

    Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week:
    Last Wednesday was a struggle. I would grab little snacks like a few chocolate chips from the freezer, a few extra nuts over my allowed amount. Not really bingeing but just extra calories. Then I let myself go over my calories a few other days. That could be why my weight is up a little today. I'll be more careful this week.

    Successes: We went out in the motorhome for a picnic last Tuesday, down to a local seaside resort. It was good to get out and walk somewhere different. There were a couple of take-away places open and several ice cream opportunities, but no indoor places were open. Very strange to see people carefully queueing in marked out spaces. The new normal for this year I suppose.
    Struggles: our holiday in July is cancelled. It was a coach holiday, but the hotel is not going to be open in time apparently. That’s four holidays cancelled already this year. We were supposed to be on a cruise on the Rhine next week.
    Life is tedious. Stay safe.

    Successes: I’ve been eating more!
    Struggles: It hasn’t always been the best stuff and I’m sure my weigh in today is artificially high due to low quality (high salt) meals over the past few days. We’re in maintenance range though!

    Success/Struggles: It's been a good week.  My weight is right where I like it and I feel really good about how much I  eat and how much I exercise.  I finally feel like I have a good balance of both.
