Day/Weight/Comment
06/16 -
06/17 - Getting back on track. Ate healthy planned food and walked 45 minutes. ☺️
06/18 - 245 Two days of healthy eating in the books! 😁
06/19 - 242.8 I had a 3000+ calorie binge in the evening. I'm doing my best to look at it objectively and not emotionally. I logged it, and tomorrow is a new day.
06/20 - 243.6 Much better on the food front today. I stayed busy and productive, but didn't get an intentional walk in.
06/21 - 243.8 I had a very large, satisfying lunch with my father at Outback. I'm happy that I let it be both lunch and dinner and didn't overeat too much. 😊
06/22 - 243.4 I had a couple kids I used to nanny come for a sleepover and we had pizza and s'mores. ❤️ I still stayed within reasonable amount of calories.
06/23 - Did not weigh - I took a day of rest and didn't track my food. I ate emotionally after saying goodbye to my kiddos. 😭

Day/Weight/Comment
06/16- 196.4 lb
06/17- 194.4 lb I’m so excited!! I’ve been stuck for a week and it all decided to come off at once.
06/18- 195.00- unfortunately this was expected since my 2 year old thought it’d be great to get up and start the day at 2am. This momma is exhausted and running on fumes at work.
06/19- 195- expecting a rise since I had a few drinks at volleyball last night and am meeting friends in a few hours at the bar to watch some EPL.
06/20- 195.3I’m having too many cheat days. We had a babysitter 2 nights in a row which NEVER happens so I’ve been splurging. Back to the grind tomorrow.
06/21- didn’t check
06/22- 198 - welp I guess that is what happens when you binge eat and drink for 4 days straight. Hoping a few lbs come off quickly flushing out all the salt intake. It all depends on how you bounce back and I already worked out this morning burning 700 calories so good news is I’m back on track.
06/23- 196.6 - burned 1050 yesterday and consumed 1400- let’s hope I have another decent drop tomorrow
06/24- 193.2 lb- I’m not sure if this is accurate .. I guess I didn’t do as much damage as I thought I did for those 4 days. I’ve walked 60k steps between mon and tues and have burned 2200 calories per exercise.

06/23 117.8 Yesterday was really nice. I took the day off of work to recover from painting and make up for the things I typically do on the weekend like dishes/laundry etc. I also decided where to put some pictures on the wall and finished hanging some mirrors in my new office space. The CSA pick up was AWESOME. So many vegetables that I’m excited to eat this week! I made whole wheat spaghetti last night with tomato sauce but I added a summer squash, scallions, garlic scapes and fresh basil.
Today we went for a nice walk that was a little longer than 4 miles. For dinner tonight I’ll be making taco salads and I’m so excited for it! I’ll be making black beans in the slow cooker to go with it (I usually just use canned beans because they’re so easy) too!
Hi @kblanc14 - Love reading your posts and all the healthy dishes you make. I saw where you mentioned garlic scapes. I had never heard of scapes until yesterday when my husband came in with them from his garden where he grows garlic among other things. He said you pick them when they just start to curl. He made pesto with scapes, fresh parmesan and olive oil. I'm going to try some on pasta today. You seem to love healthy foods and I see where you are part of a CSA - do you have your own garden as well? I'm not much of a gardener but my husband is. He's gone from gardening directly in the ground to mostly using an earth-box-type system close to the house. Not only is it easier to water, keep the deer out but vegies such as swiss chard don't get all the dirt on them so just a rinse does it.5 -
06/24–178.4 Had a very positive day yesterday. I made the BEST salad for dinner that I’ve ever made, and the whole family loved it. In case you’re interested, here’s the link to it: https://cafedelites.com/chicken-avocado-caprese-salad/

Starting weight Day 7 Round 111 – 66.3kg
Ending weight Round 116 – 60.4kg
Goal for Round 117 - 59.4kg
Day/Weight/Comment
06/16 - 60.1kg, no harm done overall from last Saturday's dinner out :-), not enough walking yesterday.
06/17 - 60.1kg, no change, no bounce up, so all good; that said I felt like I didn't eat quite right yesterday...
06/18 - 59.9kg, < 60kg is the best news, need to lose 1 more kg from a pound-perspective to get < 130
06/19 - 59.9kg, is this a new trend? Last night I felt like I ate too much dinner, although calories were okay...
06/20 - 59.8kg, things moving slowly this round, forgot to wear my fitbit yesterday!
06/21 - 59.9kg, interesting, got lots of steps yesterday > 20,000. Rainy today so not so good for walking.
06/22 - 59.6kg, sweet drop, feeling a bit under the weather now but at least it's a sunny day today :-)
06/23 - 59.2kg, not to be believed, sick with a sore throat, limited walking yesterday and had to forego chocolate.
06/24 - 59.1kg, calorie requirement upped to 1200, still less walking due to cold. Losing a bit too fast now.
06/25 - 59.5kg, that's better, missed goal, but happy with that weight to finish this round; still sick :-/6 -

@fmfdfa2020 Awe thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy my posts! I love garlic scapes and have made pesto before with them. It was sooo good! So, your pasta meal sounds yummy to me!
I really do love healthy foods (I've loved cooking all my life) and after hearing that you enjoy reading my recipe ideas, it will make me continue chatting away about them. We do have a garden (my mother in law is usually in charge of it because we live with them) but also have lots of creatures that LOVE to eat the plants in the garden. This leaves us with not relying on the garden's bounty but just appreciating the gifts when they make it to the fully ripened stage. For example...I have a summer squash that had two flowers on it yesterday...checked on it this morning and poof one's gone! We have a fenced off garden but that doesn't keep them all out. We have some raised beds as well with a diy cage around them but the chipmunks still manage to get through it. So it's been nice knowing that we will have a steady stream of produce coming in with the CSA (all year long because they have a CSA share for every season) and can just view what does make it out of the garden as a treat. Enjoy your pesto and I'll be sure to share what I end up doing with the rest of our scapes! We have about 4ish left I think.3 -
Round 117 – June 16 to June 25
Female, 5’, 67 years. SW – 168.8 GW – close to or under 167, UGW – 140.
Back again after a fast trip to new location to check out houses. Lots of stress – The house we had our eye on suddenly dropped $10,000 which made a total drop of $36,000 so we were afraid it would sell fast (which it has). Our house still has, at the very least, 2 - 3 wks. work to get it ready to list (We got it incredibly cheap as a fixer-upper which we gradually lost steam on.) and we just can’t work like we did years ago. Weight loss went from “in denial” to “it was ugly” – thanks @eyesopennow .
Positives out of this though: When we actually saw the house - not really what we’re looking for. After looking at a few houses have a much better idea of “how the house looks online” vs. “what you are actually getting.” Great realtor who has lived all his life in that area and could answer all kinds of questions. Did only gain a couple of lbs. despite stress, carpal tunnel pain from overdoing it and tiredness (it’s about a 12 hr. trip from here).
Things are coming along and I just have to keep working at it, but not overdo it. Have to remember that taking care of my body is also important …
Goals: continue with 12 hr. IF, 5-6 glasses of water a day, complete my tracking every day and get some kind of outdoor exercise unless it is raining – in which case indoors.

06/19- 168.8 – Reading through posts and typing this out has definitely helped me refocus.
06/20 – 169 – Tracked everything, no IF – had bowl of 2% Greek yogurt. Hours of gardening but just deadheading and weeding so not a lot of calories burned.
06/21 – 168.8
06/22 – 169 – Did not track yesterday and had a very relaxing day and nap in the afternoon. Really needed the no pressure to get stuff done day. Did manage to resist the temptation for a late evening snack. Stomach complained that I was starving and ‘needed’ something, but ignored it and slept great.
06/23 – 168.8
06/24 – 169 – Got a lot done outside on Monday, yesterday shopping and running errands. Managed to avoid buying candy or other no – nos and eating way too much after getting home. Did have a rather salty but good supper. Seem to have a bit of sinus infection and one eye hurts, so taking it easier today.

6/23 NWI We had a great time at the pool and met with our SIL and my husband for dinner. I ate pizza so know tomorrow’s weight will be up. Not a problem. Granddaughter #1 is back in Cincinnati. Local granddaughters and visiting DGD and DD have gone to The Strip. It’s after 10PM and I’m tired. Have lab work early in the morning. NOT concerned about what I know will be a few added pounds. My finger joints hurt from carb related inflammation and I could hardly get my ring off. Haven’t read all messages but tomorrow will pick up where I left off.
6/24. 123.0. Totally expected. Can’t get my ring on. Back to the straight and narrow. For the last several days, I can get into MFP but the community is “unable is unable to connect to the server.” I got on and read a bit last night but haven’t had any luck today. Daughter and granddaughter left this morning.
@GrandmaJackie thank you for the link to the next round!!5 -
I've stopped from the longest time from doing this challenge and I really miss it and felt like it helped.
It's been hard for me to be able to log everything lately, but hoping to stick with it this time.

06/22- 206- Father's Day messed me up. I ate mostly healthy, but had a couple cookies and a soda and that always messes me up. More on track today and pushing myself to drink more water. Also been doing walks in the mornings a couple times a week, so hope it helps!
06/23- 206- No change really.
06/24- 206.4- Pretty annoyed. Went on a good walk yesterday and mostly ate good. I think it might be water weight because I've been pushing myself to drink more water. Hanging in there for the rest of the week.

@musicsax When my first was born, I tried breastfeeding. She also was always hungry. I went to the lactation clinic at the base hospital and the consultant told me I was starving her and suggested formula. We made the switch and she was a chubby, happy baby. Prayers for your grandson and the family.1

I'm in! Thank you, @GrandmaJackie!
70 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. A pinched nerve and back surgery side-lined me for about a year. Then I had hip surgery March 10th. Recovery is slow. Sure do want to be back doing 5 miles a day!
The Shelter in Place has everyone freaked. We need to remain calm and respectful of each other.

Thanks @quiltingjaine , tests have proved that he is getting plenty of satisfying breast milk, his problem is in his genetics, he is missing one of the essential enzymes which retains glucose; just awaiting further results to establish which one to determine how to manage the problem and to see whether either of his parents are carriers of the defect or whether it is just in his make up. His refuses formula, that has been tried, so at the moment he is on constant feeding through a tube together with regular breast feeds which for him is pretty much feeding all through the day with just 6 hours during the night when he does have good sleep. The other problem is the amount of "dirty" nappies, so its been literally a case for him of in one end and out the other!! The latter problem has eased slightly since DD has omitted all dairy products from her diet, it's not so much the case that he is hungry because he's not getting enough (if it were it would be so much easier to treat!), more a case that his body is not hanging on to those nutrients.
He is finding the tube down through his nose into his stomach very uncomfortable & it means that he needs someone watching him 24/7 in case he pulls out the tube and the fluid accidentally enters his lungs, hence it is likely to be long hospital in-patiency. Corona virus is exasperating the situation as only one parent is allowed on the ward at any one time and no visitors are allowed!! So not even SIL can be with them, they are briefly swapping
over to enable DD to get a shower and have a short time with toddler DGS (aged 27 months - he luckily did not suffer with this problem). Thank goodness for mobile phones !!
Thanks you for thinking of them and for your input, I am so grateful for all the virtual support, just wish I had a magic wand!!7 -

Day/Weight/Comment
06/16 133.4 – 11.62 miles walked yesterday, 25 calories in credit, 53g carbs & 2g fat over.
06/17 134.4 – 6.86 miles walked yesterday, but, it was DHs 60th birthday, I booked tickets for Clumber Park, family also booked tickets to surprise him & as DGC are still toddlers when they walked it was a slow walk. It was such a lovely day and we all took our own picnics. My calories in were higher than those out, and so that reflected on the scales.
06/18 134.8 – 10.76 miles walked, wonderful sunny day over the Long Mynd from Cardingmill Valley. 626 calories in credit, carbs 2g over.
06/19 134.8 – 7.22 miles walked yesterday. Child minded our DGD whilst parents were working, it rained all day, after tea it stopped so DH & I decided to get out in that window, a mile and a half from home the heavens opened and we returned like drowned rats!!
06/20 134.8 – 5.93 miles walked yesterday, again rain cut it short!! 18 calories & 62 carbs over.
06/21 134.2 – 7.91 miles walked yesterday, 64 calories & 54 carbs over. Happy Father's day to you all today.
06/22 134.2 – 9.52 miles walked yesterday, 604 calories in credit & all macros in green.
06/23 136.4 – 8.52 miles walked yesterday. My 5 month old DGS was admitted to hospital yesterday, DD had noticed that he had not been gaining weight and therefore growing despite her constantly breast feeding him(C19 has stopped all routine health checks in the community), after several contacts with the GP, her cutting dairy products from her diet incase of him having a cow lactose intollerance, he has been refered to a consultant & it seems that he is not got the capacity to retain glucose which is why he is constantly hungry & constantly feeding. He is now on constant feeding through a tube & glucose monitoring. I turned to chocolate as this developed and continued all through the afternoon and evening, hence the gain. Hoping for positive news on DGS treatment today, & am trying to channel my feelings into a way of helping; DD is on her own in the hospital, SIL is not allowed to be there too (due to Covid restrictions) and no visitors either! This virus has a lot of much wider implicayions to answer to!!!! Would welcome anyone elses experiences with this condition as not come across it before. Sorry to go on.
06/24 136 – 8.62 miles walked yesterday. 53 calories in credit, 47g carbs over; still not wholly good food choices, but more in control than yesterday. DGS had a rough night last night – poor little mite, he's suffering .
06/25 135.4 – 10.49 miles walked yesterday, good food choices, 484 calories in credit, all other macros in green. 2 pounds up from end of last round
KEEP SAFE EVERYONE . Keep calm – we're all in this together!

06/20—181.0 Beginning again. Not looking back—here’s to the long haul! Just back from vacation, so hopefully the first couple pounds will come off quickly. After that it will be a long hard battle, but I need to return to where healthy eating and exercise are a lifestyle. I've done it before. Time to do it again.
06/21–180.4 Felt good to be back in control yesterday.
06/22–178.8 Making good progress so far. Traveling all day and much of the night today, so I’ll have to make wise choices. There won’t be much, if any, exercise. I will expect a little gain tomorrow, but if I make good choices, maybe it won't be bad. After a quick loss like today's, usually there's a bit of a bounce back up. Fingers crossed!
06/23–179.0 Not bad for an all-out travel day. Made good choices for the most part for the day. Zero exercise though, so need to make up for that today.
06/24–178.4 Had a very positive day yesterday. I made the BEST salad for dinner that I’ve ever made, and the whole family loved it. In case you’re interested, here’s the link to it: https://cafedelites.com/chicken-avocado-caprese-salad/
06/25–179.6 Hiked yesterday carrying my DGD on my back, which was strenuous, but fun! Then came home and did some tough yard work. I’m super sore today, but hoping that muscle soreness is the reason for this slight uptick. Cleaning house while babysitting today, so should burn calories but still be able to recover. Need to drink lots of water today. But, met my goal for this round, so I’m happy with that. I really am more focused now than I’ve been in the last year, so hopefully, I can begin a downward trend that holds, even if it’s a slow one. Looking forward to the next round with y'all.6 -

Day/Weight/Comment
06/16 193.3 so shocked to see this number again 🙄 . But for real, I'm ready to see a downward trend. Patience definitely isn't my strong suit. Yesterday was okay. Slightly over calorie goal, yet better than previous couple of days. Hoping for a good day today.
06/17 193.6 yesterday wasn't great. It was my son's birthday and last day of teletherapy for PT/OT, and I'm behind at work, so lots of mixed emotions going on. I ate my feelings a bit with some sweets. And we ended up getting Wendy's for dinner since my son's favorite is chicken nuggets and fries (of course!), so that was a bit higher in sodium and calories than what I planned. I did choose a salad with grilled chicken and used 1 packet of dressing - so those are both wins. But I'm having a hard time sticking to calorie goals right now.
06/18 193.1 good day yesterday, over my step goal and only 60 over my calorie goal. Will keep on keeping on.
06/19 193.5 feeling puffy today. Really frustrated that I have such a hard time sticking to my calorie goal and crave sweets. I need to re-evaluate my strategies to deal with snacking since I'm not doing great right now.
06/20 193.4 I'll take it. Over with calories, lots of activity outside shoveling mulch and sweating my butt off. Today won't be a great day sticking to calories because pizza and cake is the plan for dinner, but I'll make the best of it.
06/21 194.6 SO much salt yesterday. And staying out in the heat. Definitely over calories, which was planned since we had a small get together for my son's birthday. I suspect with some extra water today I'll flush my system out.
06/22 194.7 yep, still have a lot of sodium in my system. Also, this weekend was kind of a wash. Half expected, but frustrating still. I have a meal plan for the week which should get me back on track. Onward and upward.
06/23 194.5 well I guess I'm going in the right direction. Finally threw out the remaining birthday cake so it won't tempt me anymore. Over my calories and under my step goal yesterday. Really struggling with having enough determination to make the choices that will promote the results I want.
06/24 193.9 stayed within my calories yesterday ✅, and got a small walking workout in. Good day yesterday.
06/25 192.9 well I guess I'm ending this round down 0.4. This is obviously not my plan (goal of 1 lb per week)- but I am learning day by day how to improve and make adjustments. The more I log my food, the more I'm learning about my habits and what is leading to success. Glad I participated!6 -

Day/Weight/Comment
06/16 - 145.5 - I'm down 1.5 lbs. since last Tuesday, so I'm hoping this bodes well for this round.
06/17 - 145
06/18 - 145
06/19 - 145
06/20 - 145.5 - We went to my stepdaughter's last night for "Happy Hour on the patio" and I indulged a little bit. We had a great time though. After a couple whiskey drinks, my 63 year old husband challenged our 12 year old grandson to a push up competition. Grandpa won! He started to work out a few years ago when he turned 60 and he has been a big part of my inspiration to get in shape. I did tell my husband not to gloat too much though because in just a few years the grandson will probably be able to kick his butt.
06/21 - 146 - I'm sure this is still leftover from Friday and I had a patio party for my Dad today for Father's day so I'm not looking forward to the scale tomorrow. However, it was a nice visit and my Dad was thrilled to get his favorite burger and sides from a local restaurant.
06/22 - 146.5
06/23 - 146.5
06/24 - 146.5 - I am really stuck this week. I'll be drinking a lot of water today to try to get get to my starting weight tomorrow.

I achieved my original goal of losing weight to get pregnant last year! Baby is here (4 months old) and so is all the weight I lost! Figured its time to get back to some better habits! I think the last JGMTD was in the 60s!

06/17 202.5
06/18 202.5 really just focusing on getting back in the habit of logging food, drinking more water, and being accountable here. My daily calories are still not in a huge defiecit...im still night nursing. But my quality of foods is improving. Plan on slow and steady loss!
06/19 202.0 stand in scale only does .5 lb increments.
06/20 202.5
06/21 203 back at work and didnt get water breaks, definitely dehydrated. Had a salty dinner last night too. Onward!
06/22 203.5 definitely not on my a game by any means. Feels good to be back in the habit despite lack of perfect eating or losses. Remembering its tiny baby steps!
06/23 203
06/24 202.5 things that feel better already; anxiety is easing, less negative self talk, eyes arent as puffy, feeling positive about the future, not afraid to get on the scale. I havent given up anything and I've very minimally reduced calories. I'm happy to feel better despite any number on the scale.
06/25 201 (201.2 on regular scale im going to start using again) well look at that! Always nice to have some success to spur me forward.6 -

Round 117
Month/Day: Weight / Comment
06/16: 214 / Looking forward to paying attention to my health for another ten days.
06/17: 212.2 / Amazing what a day without pizza will do for your morning weigh-in!
06/18: 211.4 / Heading in a good direction, but todays meals have been pretty salty. I will not be surprised to see a jump up tomorrow.
06/19: 213 / Aaaaand there it is.
06/20: 214.4 / A fish fry at the house last night. Breaded and deep fried crappie filets. Look it up if you need to, crappie (pronounced croppy,) may not be common in your part of the world. I love the planet-wide participation in this group. 😊
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crappie
My son and I caught them in northern Wisconsin last fall. The breading was salty.
06/21: 214.4 estimated.
06/22: 214.2 / Monday morning after 4 days with wife’s two out-of-town sisters + father’s day thrown in. I usually feel like a victim when excess(ive) calories are available for me to eat. It is like I am being forced to indulge. I need to stop the victim mentality and make some adult choices. That is all.
06/23: 212.8 lbs or 96.5kg / Thank goodness for our CSA vegetables every week. Our farmer could use a little rain! He works extremely hard, but it is a labor of love for him. He is harvesting this week’s share as I write this, and it will be washed and ready to pick up this evening at a local home less than a half mile from my house. (That’s about 0.8 kilometers for my friends on the metric system.)
Not to ramble, but I sometimes wish we had gone to metric in the United States. I am an architect, so I know how hard it would be to change an entire industry here that is based on increments of 12 inches. Some products are metric units of measurement… usually finishes.
My weight listed above in both lbs and kg in honor of this detour.
06/24: 212.4 / Unless I blow it today with some sort of mindless binge that tacks on 5 pounds, my ten day average will be less than my previous ten day average.
06/25: 212.0 / Yes! A 0.6 pound reduction in my ten day average. Looking forward to the next ten day challenge. Thank you @GrandmaJackie .

Female 36 5'4" - USA - North Carolina
Starting Weight - 245
Mini Goal: Lose 10 pounds
Ultimate Goal Weight: 130
Goal for Round 117 - Track food every day, walk 20 minutes every day.
06/24 -243.8 I had a heavy dinner a little earlier than usual. I came home hungry!
06/25 - 239.8 Uh... wha? Pretty sure this is a fluke. 🤷♀️
Results: I did track every day except one. I got some walks in early in the challenge but dropped off. I'll have the same goals for the next challenge!6 -

Original start weight: 178 lbs (Oct. 10, 2019)
Goal this round: loose and stay under 160.0.
Ultimate goal 145 lbs.
End of round 116 6/15= 158.6 lbs
Day/Weight/Comment
06/16 159.6 lbs Graduation and now all the leftovers have been hard on the diet, but it was a good time. Hoping to maintain this challenge and be done with the leftovers. I have given away all that I can, hate to throw out the salads and buns. Froze some of the sweets for camping trips. We had a better turn out then I thought we would because of springs work being late this year and the virus but I tend to always over make food.
06/17 161.6 lbs
06/18 159.8 lbs Paddle boated with a friend, we traveled four miles and got sunburnt like I usually do even with sunblock. Started doing my back exercises again. Still to many leftover bars, etc. They might have to become dog treats.
06/19 159.0 lbs
06/20 159.6 lbs spilt wood, gardened, mowed lawn
06/21 159.6 lbs
06/22 DNW Funeral
06/23 DNW Funeral
06/24 163.0lbs. Forgot to weigh before shower, so wet hair, etc. Between graduation and this funeral, ugh, not good. Plus today is grocery day with friends, so I am sure we will have a good time too. But I am pumped for the next challenge to start over.
6/25 162.0lbs. So completely failed my goal for this round which was to stay under 160 and gained 3.4 lbs. Ready for the next round, nothing special that I know of happening.6
