September lessons learned: I really lost nothing the last two weeks. As I approach what I think of as my ideal weight this gets more difficult. I will have to manage this process more precisely or seriously consider just doing recomp.

As I suspected, weighing in and reporting every day was starting to get me obsessed, so I'm grateful that this challenge doesn't enable obsession. lol I really wanted to keep doing the 10 Day challenges and I'd like to go back to them when I'm in the right head space for them.
Nice to see people's successes here.

My birthday is 10/10 so will calorie bank so that I can have a piece of cake. Weight loss is slowing since I haven't had a refeed or diet break since starting. It's getting dark earlier will need to find a way to consistently get outdoor walking in with strength training.3 -

Aug 28th 192.8 ( this month overall I haven't lost or gained any weight. Going to need to refocus if I want to see any progress.)
I ended up losing 3 lbs for the month of August. Which from my trending app was all in the last 7 days.
Ready for whatever September brings.

09/11 189.6 ( while I'm glad to see a loss my focus this past week hasn't been on weight loss. Due to fires in my area we've almost been evacuated twice, and several close friends and family have lost their homes. Entire streets of homes and businesses are now gone, and some of the fires are 0% contained.)

I am just in the middle of another plateau. In two weeks lost gain lost gain the same lb. Plus autumn is difficult. I am hungrier. I am eating well, mostly. 1600 calories a day has become more difficult and I find myself hungry. I drink plenty of water, fruit to supplement but it seems like never enough. plus my 3 year old twins are keeping me busy to say the least.
May 6th I weighed 225.3
August 20th I weighed 205.7
Today I am at 199.1
My goal is get to 189 by November 15th and maintain until Jan 1.

At that rate, you’d weigh 7.3lbs by Nov 15

In another 2-1/2 weeks - around Dec 3, you’d be at 189.
I began at 228.3 and I found after the initial 20-25, I lost a little more slowly because I wasn’t burning as many calories as I was lighter.
I know you’re super busy with twins!! OMG!!
Are you able to get out for a daily walk? That’s what suppressed my appetite and enabled me to lose 4lbs a month with only a touch of hunger (as I could eat more due to exercise burn). I did up my calories every few months which enabled me to walk faster, more hills ...
One of the things I’ve seen in here is folks setting very ambitious goals & then getting discouraged...I set very easy, achievable goals and took about 3 years to lose 80 lbs.
