I am always entertained by the ‘difference between the sexes’ posts and they seem to be popular around here. I thought it would be fun to make a post where you can share something that you might say to someone else and ask either the guys or girls how THEY would have interpreted it if you had sent it to them.
I’ll make an example of someone in the first comment, but you can use this as a way to get a general read on how your comments are being taken by others. It is meant to be mostly for fun so exaggerate or be as ridiculous as you want

For example:
I tease @Motorsheen that when he closes out a DM with “have a nice afternoon”, what he’s REALLY saying is “let’s never do this again”
So for purposes of this thread, he would make a post that says “girls, when i close out a DM with ‘have a nice afternoon’, how are you taking that?”

Just gonna put it out there, I use multiple ! marks to express excitedness, like I'm super happy to talk to you (a rarity for me) or occasionally about something that requires 'attention'. I try to reserve the !!! for 'special' use - and never more than 3 (otherwise its weird and/or redundant).
Some times one ! just looks 'blah'
"proper grammar and sentence structure - bore to infinity, thank-you very much kind sir/ma'am"
