Hello everyone, I'm Wally! I'm 40 yrs old with 3 teenage kids and married to my disabled veteran hubby 20 yrs this coming January 2021, trying to get back into focusing on myself more. I'm not sure how much I weigh. I don't own a scale and, due to mental health issues, I forget what my doc says my weight is almost right after being told everytime. I think my weight is around 157 currently. My goal weight though is around 130. That's not too bad for a 5'6 tall, 40 yrs old woman. 😊❤️

Welcome to MFP, Wally, I'm Ann (I've been here for a few years, now maintaining after losing weight in 2015).
With a moderate amount to lose like you have, MFP can be a great tool, and 20-some pounds is pretty achievable (doesn't need to be at a "Biggest Loser" kind of speed, and taking it more as a gradual change of habits can be very productive, depending on your goals). Have you decided on any goals yet? The "Most Helpful Posts" part of the forum, in the "Getting Started" and "General Health, Fitness & Diet" areas have a lot of good guidance. Direct links here:
