Hello all, if you like me have been frustrated with not being able to reach our weight goal , let’s get this challenge going January 1st. We will welcome Spring (April) with all that sparks joy in us.

    My name is Chris. I am 70 and 5'5". I live in northern California in the Bay Area.

    * Start weight - 145.8
    * Goal weight - 132.0
    * Current weight
    * Daily plan - One workout at a time, one pound at a time, one meal at a time and one day at a time. I borrowed this from a friend.
    - Diet
    - Exercise - Walk 4-5 miles 5 days a week and workout w/trainer 3 time a week for 60 mins each session

    2021 hear we go.....
    My commitment for a healthy body, mind and spirit.
    Start weight - 131 lbs.
    Goal weight - 125
    Diet - low carb
    Daily plan - 60 minutes of exercise
    Workout schedule: daily walk plus Mon - Wed - Fri Cardio/weights, Tue - Thur - Sat YOGA
    Joyful acts: focus on spirituality, relationships and self care

    Hi there! I really like the idea of a group focused on a smaller increment goal. Thanks for organizing.
    I am 49 and live in Colorado.
    I hit #50 this coming year and want to feel strong heading into August!
    Start weight: 133
    Goal weight - 123
    Diet - Veggies, less sugar, wine on weekends only or when meeting a friend (which hopefully will happen a lot in 2021 since all was shut down this past year!).
    Daily plan - vitamins, water, my chinese herbs, bed by 10:30
    -hour of exercise with a focus on weights (I prefer cardio and have avoided core work lately and I think that,
    plus the cold and stress, is why my weight creeped up in quarantine).
    Joyful acts: gratitude, find quiet moments and nature. like haliene, also focus on relationships, letting go of outcomes.

    01/01 - 145.8 ...I usually see my trainer on Friday but because of the holiday we moved it to tomorrow. My husband and I take Monday and Friday off from our walking...so today is no exercise and a lot of reading! :D

    My rest day from exercise schedule is Sunday.
    Sunday’s I like to do a personal inventory and plan out the week ahead, I also update my food shopping list and wipe down the frig. My goal this year, to add planning and structure to my daily living.

    I’m Nina and I’m 29 years old, 5’6 lbs. I live in Manitoba Canada

    * Start weight: 244.4 lbs
    * Goal weight: 150 lbs
    * Current weight: 244.3 lbs
    * Daily plan: drink more than 64 oz of water, track everything I eat (which is a challenge for me) and do some sort of exercise daily(walk, stationary bike etc)
    - Diet: cut out pop, reduce sugar, and sort out food triggers
    - Exercise: walks daily and if it’s too cold, go on the stationary bike/ do a dance workout
    - Joyful acts: self care and being kind to myself

    Welcome one and all.
    We can do it , slow and steady for lasting results.
    Today, I cleared my kitchen cupboards and refrigerator of processed foods. I am weak when faced with temptation.
    Tomorrow Sunday, I’ll plan healthy meals for the week.

    Hi I would like to participate in this challenge. My name is Mary from Ontario Canada. I am on the road to become a healthier person and that involves weight reduction. In the past I have always tried to lose weight quickly. This time my approach is a pound a week. It took 15 years to gain this weight. I would like to lose 10 pounds by April 1st. Reading the post of the group everyone sounds excited and upbeat.
